Quoted from CICERO

I just used your words.  Maybe they have a different meaning to you.  They sound very similar to the words of Benito Mussolini.

All within the state, nothing outside the state, nothing against the state.

War is to man what maternity is to a woman. From a philosophical and doctrinal viewpoint, I do not believe in perpetual peace.

The function of a citizen and a soldier are inseparable.

It is the State which educates its citizens in civic virtue, gives them a consciousness of their mission and welds them into unity.

Most days, I'm a pretty happy guy.  My life has it's ups and downs, but most days are good ones.
I'm so glad that I don't live in Cicero's world.  His world looks like a scary unfriendly hostile place where
everyone is against every else, on their own,  and live in fear.

It doesn't have to be that way Cicero...

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

Fear?  No fear here, just reality.  Perpetual war, highest prison population in the world, compulsory school/health insurance, income tax, extrajudicial execution, domestic spying, all in the land if the free.

You like these controls, you've been well conditioned to accept this reality.  You are an example of the success of state propaganda and indoctrination.  You fear people like me that do not see the world through your indoctrinated eyes.  You are the one who lives in fear, you are the one that fears people acting independently and freely.  You need people's behavior to be controlled.

I have no fear, I've never felt more free since I've realized I have no obligation to the collective state.  My participation is only through the coercive threats of violence.

Keep on complying to the threats, you need that to make sense of the world around you.

As Cicero sees the USA:

Really Cic... You picture all these imagined hurts, these fictitious enemies, the oppression that is only
inflicted on you by you.

I don't know what made you so paranoid, but it did a good job!

The gun companies are rolling in the dough!!!! Guns and ammo are flying off the shelves at record speed!!! And since the NRA is aHUGE lobbying group with lots and lots of cash...the dems and reps will be kissing their a$$es.

So dont be fooled by the bullsh!t that the government  is going to ban guns. The NRA will do a 'little' compromise for good PR, and the government will say they strong armed them. When the truth is....it was a political motivated consensual decision made over a steak dinner!!

And the NRA (dripping in blood) just smiles!

I'm not an NRA member but, I smile too....not for the CT killings but for the fact that folks actually are paying attention
and maybe some folks will realize that long before our current technology of tv/tech/media/dr. spock/sesame street
etc, guns were tools of protection and food....the only thing that changed was our inability to master our creations of
social engineering...we allow others to grow/slaughter/engineer our food supply so that we are able to lead 'easier' lives,
even on welfare being poor is RICH....but our food supply is killing us slowly.....both mentally and physically....

we've come a long way baby.....

Have always wondered how the PD's across the country felt about the citizenery arming/rearming themselves to the teeth.   It surely must cross an officers mind each time they approach a suspects car or house on an investigation, just how much firepower they may have to deal with.   Do police unions in general support the NRA?   Through PR and/or cash donations?   Lobbying?
