I saw a headline in the online TU about a former school board member's son acting up in a big way. I clicked on the article, but I knew which school board where, before reading a word. How did I  know that?

I think it's pretty certain he's gonna get some jail time, if not prison.

No, no psychic powers.   Actually I was wrong.   I was expecting it to be that Casino kid, where parents served the kids alcohol.

But isn't his father something in the DEM party in Schenectady?

You may have thought of a different kid, but you didn't think it was a former school board member from any other district. I must admit, school boards  do attract some doozies, but in recent years I think Schenectady's school system has taken first prize.
The dad was in the news for some kind of conflict of interest a while back, I thought. I'm pretty much out of the loop, that's why I read this website, because you can't find out what is really going on, or even close, from the local news sites.

Anybody can have a problem kid, but when you throw stones at other people publicly you will draw attention to your own glass house.

SARATOGA SPRINGS — A Schenectady man tried to drive off with a limo full of ladies celebrating a bachelorette party early Sunday morning, until they realized he wasn't their assigned driver and wrestled him from the wheel.

Saratoga Springs Police said Tyler Bellick, 22, was drunk when he stumbled out of the Saratoga Casino and, unable to start his own car, got behind the wheel of the coach.

"As I was going to sit down, the limo took off," said Michele Swart, 38, a bachelorette who was partying with a dozen friends at the racino's nightclub.

Swart bumped her head. She shouted. One friend, Carla Rinaldi, jumped over the limousine's divider and grabbed Bellick's neck with one hand while shifting the vehicle out of drive with the other, Swart and Dan Plumley, owner of All Occasions Limousine, said.

Bellick fled through the Nelson Avenue casino's parking lot, trailed by angry women in high heels. He was apprehended by casino security guards and held until police arrived, Swart and Plumley said.

Bellick was no stranger to cops. The SUNY Plattsburgh student had previously been charged with DWI, and apparently sought out the limo after he failed a required Breathalyzer test that was installed in his own car, police said. They provided no other details about the crash.

Bellick, the son of a former member of the Schenectady school board, had been previously charged with throwing a homemade bomb at a Plattsburgh apartment house. In July, he reportedly pleaded guilty third-degree assault after he threw an explosive made from a soda bottle and toilet bowl cleaner onto the porch of an off-campus apartment house —the blast allegedly damaging the hearing of a fellow student.

In February 2009, Bellick's mother, Linda, was serving on the Schenectady school board when police arrested facilities supervisor Steven Raucci for placing explosive devices at the homes of school co-workers and others. Linda Bellick was not re-elected that May. But in a controversial move, the school board briefly reappointed her in August 2009 after another school board member resigned.

Saratoga Springs police charged Bellick with felony DWI, fourth-degree grand larceny and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. He was bailed out of the Saratoga County Jail later Sunday.

Swart and her friends had planned to continue their night, but ended up at the casino until 5 a.m.

"If our one friend didn't jump up, who knows how far we'd have gone," she said.

Lovely.

Isn't the Bellick father some sort of DEM frontrunner in Schenectady. Maybe his family and friends club card has helped his son out of a few situations.

Too bad Saratoga County is most REP.

I've seen the dad called a Democrat neighborhood leader, whatever that is, and he also received an award (Harry Truman award?) from them. I'm remembering some issue that came up involving conflict of interest with him but can't remember details.
Young Bellick had better hope that the fiance of the woman whose party he crashed isn't the vengeful sort. This man has a history of attacking women he doesn't know, doesn't he? I believe the house he threw the bombs at was a sorority, so one could expect that there would be women inside.

Tom Bellick is a DEM ward leader. He helped McCheese and other DEM half wits get elected.  His wife Linda Bellick finished last in an election and was put back on the worst School Bored in the
State. Then she gave a going away present to Eric Elys. This the third arrest for Tyler Bellick. First he was arrested for armed robbery outside the Schenectady Muni Golf Course. Got a slap on the wrist. In
Plattsburgh he threw a home made bomb and injured a sorority girl. He got off that. How? Hope they throw the book at him in Saratoga County. Another only in Schenectady story.

He will get off again because of his DEM machine parents Tom and Linda Bellick. Like he has done 3 times before. Typically double standard for political elites.

Kinda' like that scumbag that killed the SCCC student last year on Erie Blvd - he had no license and several other driving infractions...a regular in the court...but they let him off time and time again.

This Bellick kid is a repeat offender. Hasn't learned his lesson either. Maybe a little time in the clink will improve his behavior.

The parents do have considerable reach statewide due to New York's one party system, but this guy is getting pretty visible and notorious, and his parents aren't that high up in the system. You can't go to the well that many times for the same stupid kid. If he doesn't learn his lesson now, he will end uptaking himself out if not someone else.
What people had to endure when they tried in vain not to see our fine city schools trashed. The name calling, our motives questioned, the condescending know-it-all sanctimony from a loud phony who didn't even know how to keep her own house in order. You can see the results of jackasses bringing politics into the schools. Are 'The Children' better off know that the social engineers have had their field day? Yes, this is an I-told-you-so moment.

Tyler Bellick also injured someone in a drunken crash in Plattsburgh after he bombed the sorority house. Linda Bellick was a total dupe for Eric Elys and the Mad Bomber. She
voted to close Howe School K-6. Tom Bellick is a huge supporter for horrid McCheese. He writes comedy letters to the Gazetto extolling high taxes and corrupt government. I
disagree with Madame and Tommy. He will walk again.

His father is a nasty little cockroach who has a poison pen that is partially held by the odious and stinking Capo with the crappo heart. He likes to accuse people of not caring for the 'children' and of course never fails to pull all the democrap cards to make mockery of political opponents in the paper. Sad that the man hasn't been tending his own brood- who are the real and resent danger. Alas his own seed is a graver risk to local folks as shown by this story and others which we have read. Maybe he can write a dirty letter about what springs from his own loins?

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."
