I think this thread is just a 'troll thread'. Anyone with even ONE brain cell knows that the majority of americans (legal or illegal) are in lock step with the globalist, entitlist, progressive, big government liberals. DUH!!! The sheople see how well it worked in Greece!!! |

A new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll says that 56% of Americans will blame both Democrats and Republicans if they fail to strike a debt reduction agreement, and expose the nation to a series of automatic tax hikes and budget cuts. Yet, as with other surveys, most respondents favor Obama's approach to fiscal cliff talks, including his call for higher taxes on the wealthy. "Twice as many Americans say they trust the president more in handling this fiscal situation (38%) than House Speaker John Boehner and the congressional Republicans (19%)," reports NBC News. NBC also notes that "significant majorities believe Obama holds a clear mandate from the election on issues related to this subject: -- 68% say he has a mandate on cutting taxes for families earning less than $250,000 per year;-- 65% say he has a mandate on reducing the deficit by both increasing taxes on the wealthy and reducing federal spending;-- And 59% say he has a mandate on eliminating the Bush-era tax cuts for household income over $250,000 a year."USA Today http://www.usatoday.com/story/theoval/2012/12/13/obama-boehner-nbc-news-fiscal-cliff/1766145/ |

Contact the Pew Research Center and ask them. They are in the business of accurate polls... see the 2012 election results. |

Your last post was an NBC poll not PEW and NBC has been known to use an uneven number of Dems to obtain the results they want. |

If you follow the USA Today link, as well as previous posts, you'll find the information came from several polls: ~ NBC News/Wall Street Journal Poll ~ ABC News/Washington Post Poll ~ Pew Research Poll They all have slightly different numbers but reach similar conclusions. |

If income taxes go up, almost all voters -- 89 percent -- think President Obama should agree to make major cuts in government spending as well. That includes 83 percent of Democrats, 91 percent of independents and 95 percent of Republicans.

OF course. I agree. Starting with Military cuts and closing tax loopholes. Obama Spending (Market Watch) Obama's spending is extremely LOW, a fact that Right Wingers like to hide. If you watch Right Wing Media... you only know Right Wing Lies! |

Nutting argues that President G.W. Bush’s second term spending bills from Fiscal Year 2006-2009 averaged 8.1% and President Obama’s annualized growth averaged 1.4%. The reason why Nutting included FY 2009 is because it was “the last of George W. Bush’s presidency — federal spending rose by 17.9% from $2.98 trillion to $3.52 trillion.” This assumption is incorrect and dishonest. This flaw in Nutting’s analysis is the reason why the Obama numbers are wrong and Nutting’s whole piece is based on flawed data. http://blog.heritage.org/2012/05/24/the-truth-about-president-obamas-skyrocketing-spending/ |

TAKE THE F'EN CLIFF....BECAUSE THIS IS WHAT IT REALLY IS
Quoted Text
New International Version (©1984) He gave them permission, and the evil spirits came out and went into the pigs. The herd, about two thousand in number, rushed down the steep bank into the lake and were drowned. New Living Translation (©2007) So Jesus gave them permission. The evil spirits came out of the man and entered the pigs, and the entire herd of about 2,000 pigs plunged down the steep hillside into the lake and drowned in the water.
English Standard Version (©2001) So he gave them permission. And the unclean spirits came out, and entered the pigs, and the herd, numbering about two thousand, rushed down the steep bank into the sea and were drowned in the sea.
New American Standard Bible (©1995) Jesus gave them permission. And coming out, the unclean spirits entered the swine; and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea, about two thousand of them; and they were drowned in the sea.
Holman Christian Standard Bible (©2009) And He gave them permission. Then the unclean spirits came out and entered the pigs, and the herd of about 2,000 rushed down the steep bank into the sea and drowned there.
International Standard Version (©2012) So he let them do this. The unclean spirits came out of the man and went into the pigs, and the herd of about 2,000 rushed down the cliff into the sea and drowned there.

Box, it's a republic. National polls mean nothing. Over 50% of the population resides in 10 states. State polls would be a more accurate picture. |

Cic, do you think that the people who make a very good living by doing Polling are unaware of that fact? |
