The "fiscal cliff" was the bi-partisan solution to the debt problems just a year ago - signed into law by Obama. Now these same people are scaring the American people by telling them the solution they agreed upon is now a potential crisis.
Americans are too stupid to figure out the word games play by these crooks.

My guess, both sides will agree on a package that includes tax increases for the rich.
If the GOP continues with their obstructionism... then the Bush Tax Cuts will expire and in January Obama will propose a middle class tax cut along with closing tax loopholes and some cuts.

They knew this was coming after passing the legislation that created the so-called "fiscal cliff" over a year ago, it was called the "Budget Control Act 2011". this isn't a football game.....the republicans HAD to be the 'bad guy'....haven't you figured that out yet? they want YOU to believe in the rich vs poor game...they WANT you to believe the government will swoop in and 'save your a$$'... in the end it's about the status quo....why?....because you couldn't afford me on a good day...so everyone has a 'cast' to fill, a contract to sign, and entitlement to get, a 'benefit' to use and of UTMOST IMPORTANCE a so called 'tax for the good of all' to pay....

The fiscal cliff might happen...for a month or so... Obama needs a legacy for his 2nd term..another recession is not it. Personally, I wouldn't be too heartbroken to see nothing done...it's tough medicine, but we been using the federal credit card like a crack addict....
