The "fiscal cliff" was the bi-partisan solution to the debt problems just a year ago - signed into law by Obama. Now these same people are scaring the American people by telling them the solution they agreed upon is now a potential crisis.
Americans are too stupid to figure out the word games play by these crooks.
we just got sucked into a conversation that means SH!T in our little worlds.....
keep selling out to 'world peace' (which is a joke) so that we can all feel safe spending $$ securing ourselves for our posterity
remember that 'fiscal cliff' is VERY MUCH affected by WTO/UN etc etc.....
war and trade are the 'Atlas' of the world machine
what I find funny is that most Americans don't grow/breed their own food supply and yet complain they need to save those poor poor folk across the globe so that they can at least grow their own food, so we send $$ to the UN and make trade agreements to save face and then complain about the 'fiscal cliff' and the 1% the 47% the 50% etc.....
the ONLY fiscal cliff is the lack of American spirit to keep everyone else around the globe on our backs.....and as friends....

and this too shall pass......just more political hype.
When the INSANE are running the ASYLUM In individuals, insanity is rare; but in groups, parties, nations and epochs, it is the rule. -- Friedrich Nietzsche
“How fortunate for those in power that people never think.” Adolph Hitler
we just got sucked into a conversation that means ...
There will be no agreement between Dems and Reps.
The reason being is that if they fail to reach an agreement, the taxes will be raised on everyone and each party will simply blame the other. The final result will be no spending cuts and massive tax increases for everyone.

That is an outcome a government dreams of.
because the systems are changing....there are ATM machines going up all over in parking lots just like photohuts of years past...this will be a short lived investment once everyone decides to use the phone apps/wallets..... say bye-bye to the dollar/yen etc.....it's about virtual credits.....10years MAX.....

My guess, both sides will agree on a package that includes tax increases for the rich.
If the GOP continues with their obstructionism... then the Bush Tax Cuts will expire and in January Obama will propose a middle class tax cut along with closing tax loopholes and some cuts.

This "fiscal cliff" public debate is nothing more than theater. They know exactly what they are going to do. They knew this was coming after passing the legislation that created the so-called "fiscal cliff" over a year ago, it was called the "Budget Control Act 2011". Now they want to override the "budget control act"? Wouldn't that be the budget out of control act?
They players haven't changed. It's still Boehner, Reid, and Obama.
The American people are played for the fools they are. They get what they deserve for allowing the games to continue.

The only difference between this year and last??? The Republicans got their heads handed to them on a platter in the 2012 elections. If they want a repeat in 2014, then they can again vote for Tax Cuts For The Rich.

this isn't a football game.....the republicans HAD to be the 'bad guy'....haven't you figured that out yet? they want YOU to believe in the rich vs poor game...they WANT you to believe the government will swoop in and 'save your a$$'... in the end it's about the status quo....why?....because you couldn't afford me on a good day...so everyone has a 'cast' to fill, a contract to sign, and entitlement to get, a 'benefit' to use and of UTMOST IMPORTANCE a so called 'tax for the good of all' to pay....
so in the end you could actually say that 'god' favored the dems...because they are the 'feelings' of our nation...
more wars are based on 'feelings' more divorces happen based on 'feelings' unwanted babies are either born or aborted based on 'feelings' school shootings happen because someone(s) 'feel' scorned entertainers are 1%ers because they get paid based on the public's 'feelings'
the list is endless....
so here we are 'feeling' our way around in the dark.....stop and connect the dots will you....this is beyond the rich vs poor....it's about the status quo....it always was....

Is Anna Wintour on Obama's shortlist for US ambassador? Could icy fashionista Anna Wintour be the next U.S. ambassador to the U.K. or France? (0) | | | inShare
UPI/Rune Hellestad License photo Published: Dec. 4, 2012 at 1:14 PM By KATE STANTON, UPI.com Vogue's famously reserved editor-in-chief might get a pretty cozy reward for her hard work during Barack Obama's presidential campaign, in which she raised more than $500,000 hosting star-studded parties for him. Bloomberg News reported Tuesday that the president is considering Anna Wintour, 63, as his next ambassador to the U.K. or France. Wintour was born in London but is now a U.S. citizen. A Vogue rep, however, maintains that Wintour isn't interested: "She's very happy with her current job." Plus, any ambassadorship would mean she'd have to take her staple sunglasses off every once in a while.
Voters trust Obama and Democrats more than Republicans, by a 53% to 36% margin, to avoid the "fiscal cliff."
Said pollster Peter Brown: Voters see Republicans as more likely to be obstructionist, and have less confidence in their ability to come up with the right solution to the nation's financial woes."
A new Quinnipiac poll finds President Obama's approval rate at 53% to 40%, his best score in three years.

The fiscal cliff might happen...for a month or so... Obama needs a legacy for his 2nd term..another recession is not it. Personally, I wouldn't be too heartbroken to see nothing done...it's tough medicine, but we been using the federal credit card like a crack addict.... Simpson-Bowles told America the truth....they just don't want to hear it.
