YET ANOTHER LOCKDOWN AT A SCHENECTADY SCHOOL!!!!!!!!

At the high school, lots of police, and canines.


But McC INSISTS the city schools are wonderful, and most of his open houses were around the high school (hey, they are nice houses, but...).

And McC's  big cheerleader wants to DENY PARENTS A CHOICE by virtue of their income not being able to afford tuition at religious or private schools, and total opposition to parental choice to send their children to charter schools.

Relax - it was probably some kid screwing around.   Analogous to pulling a  fire alarm

SCHENECTADY – Students and faculty at Schenectady High School spent part of Thursday in lockdown after a threat was found scrawled on the wall of the girls' bathroom, according to school district officials.

On Thursday morning, students discovered a note reading "gun in locker, FA" written across a bathroom wall, suggesting a student might have a gun in the school's John Sayles School of Fine Arts.

The school went into lockdown mode about 10:30 a.m., but a police search of the school turned up nothing. The school was under lockdown for an hour.

Police have not yet located the person who wrote the threat, school officials said.

The school remained on alert.

"The school will be vigilant about watching for threats," said Schenectady City School District spokeswoman Karen Corona.
