SCHENECTADY — The Schenectady County Sheriff's Office will hold its sixth gun buy-back event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m Saturday at Carver Community Center, 700 Craig St., Schenectady.

The program is offered monthly at different locations throughout Schenectady County and is open only to county residents.

Gee, maybe they should have a float in the parade tomorrow night.  Like send a float down the parade route about a half hour before the parade.

Actually, something better, have the gun buy-backs at all the houses that are part of this week's open house.

Nobody in their right mind is going to turn in an assault rifle for $250 when they now sell for between $1000 and $2500 depending on make, model and caliber.

like I said before....dont tax the 'rich' charge them higher prices....
