Republican Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal:
“Stop being the stupid party”

"We've got to make sure that we are not the party of big business, big banks, big Wall Street bailouts,
big corporate loopholes, big anything.
We cannot be, we must not be, the party that simply protects the rich so they get to keep their toys."

End 'dumbed-down conservatism'

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

He's definitely running for president in 2016. He's already courting the middle. A Christie - Jindal ticket would be very hard for the dems to beat.

It would get beat worst than Romney/Ryan.  The reason DEMS won the presidency is because their rhetoric matches their policy.  They talk big government, entitlement, collectivist rhetoric and they pass big government, entitlement, collectivist legislation.  Establishment neocon REPS talk small government conservatism, free markets, and personal liberty rhetoric and pass big government, entitlement, collectivist legislation.  The big government people come out to vote for their entitlements and they know DEMS will deliver.  The small government conservatives won't show up because they were burned by Bush and the republican majority they had in congress.

If they run two guys that look like they were propped up by FOX News and the neocon old guard, the millions that didn't show up for this election won't show up in 2016.  They won't waste their time.

this is soooooo true...

I wan't to be the party that gets to keep their welfare check/food stamps/heap/medicare/medicaid and if it's still not enough
I wan't your f'en flat screen tv/cell phone/car/laptop/pedicure/facial/video game console etc etc.......

the 'at least' by the government SHOULD REMAIN AS SUCH....every time the 'at least' gets bigger the personal personhood gets
lesser and lesser.......

it's like a poor real estate deal of our grey matter.....YOU NEVER GET VALUE BACK THAT YOU INVESTED

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

"their welfare check/food stamps/heap/medicare/medicaid "...
Redundant... you again are posting about the Republican Party.  "The Giveaway Party".  They give Blue
State tax dollars to Red States to guarantee reelection.
