No where did I ever say that I "accumulated money"... I doubt you'd considered me wealthy or even
close to that.

Jack Welch isn't rich... he still wants more. He doesn't have ENOUGH.
  Donald Trump wants more fame, more glory more power... With all his wealth he still doesn't have ENOUGH.

Wow, you just admitted that you have enough to live on, plus you can afford luxuries like the internet without working any longer.  THEN, you say you have "enough for at least today", then you begrudge Jack Welch and Donald Trump who want more.  Well sh*t, you admitted you went into retirement in your 50's then in the same post admitted it may not be enough money in the future.  Well DUH!  And you wonder why Jack Welch and the rest keep on amassing wealth.  They know there are people like you who are young enough and still able to work but chose to retire, and do so admitting there is a possibility of running out of money in the future.  They know you are more than willing to summons the government to go after those rich who continue to accumulate wealth and take it to subsidize your decision to stop working because you thought it was enough.  

It's very nobel to think you "have enough".  But as you so astutely stated, you have enough "at least for today".

I don't consider you 'anything' (and I don't mean that in a rude way) but the government will place value on your income
taxes/savings accounts and whatever you own....

how do you know that you don't have MORE than enough...someone is wishing they had what you have and wishing
they have what I have....

those 1%er's in power may need votes and will talk about the transfer of your version of 'enough' to someone else
value, according to the world markets/trade etc are subjective

I certainly don't think you a bad person(not that my observation of you means anything), you are who you are and I'm
glad you got what you got/get.....but the pendulum swings both ways

that's why FLAT TAX

not progressive and not regressive

simplest form like ockhams razor.....then we all know where we stand as individuals, both in our own personal failures
and in our own personal advancements....and if one is so morally inclined to share their abundance, then do so...
