SCHENECTADY — Notorious Schenectady landowner Frank Poplizio faces up to six months in jail for failing to pay nearly $100,000 in state sales tax while running a the Pentagon restaurant that closed down this year.

It is time for him to pay the piper for Gods sake! And where is he going to get the 98K for restitution? What about his property taxes? He's probably got a stash somewhere the thief. |

The court CAN seize assets, he is loaded with assets, seize them all for the fines. Just like why have the city dems chosen to allow him to keep his posh house in Nisky while making the homeowners in the city pay for the demo of the McClellen/Eastern ave building? He did not have insurance on it to pay for the demo so the city homeowners paid. The city has the legal right to pursue getting a judgement which then allows them to seize his assets. Why have the city dems chosen to make the homeowners pay instead, and let him off the hook? |
