Sweet Temptations the cupcake bakery that opened in Downtown Schenectady by Proctor's has now shut down! Their windows are covered with Proctor's posters to hide the fact.
Jewelry cannot stay in that spot, cupcakes cannot stay. The business climate Downtown still is horrible. After 12 years of Metrograft flushing $100 MILLION on facades and new
curbs no McDonald's, no Dunkin Donuts and no Starbucks. Cheer leaders like the creperie, Sweet Temptations and the jewelry realize that there is no business on a daily basis.
Some the hard way. More small businesses are being crushed under the DEM moron record taxes and fees and ready to pull the plug.

“90% of all new businesses in the USA fail in 5 years!”.

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

Oh, just wait for the BIG dv post as Glry, saying something that the renaissance continues and that Proctors/Morris WILL have a new tenant very quickly.

Of course he will NOT explain why the places close and he will NOT explain why all the taxpayers money thrown at downtown has resulted in a DRASTIC REDUCTION in the tax base in the city

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

Thank God the City has a self proclaimed "law enforcement expert" as Mayor. Any business not on the government teat Downtown cannot survive.
Especially with political pigs like Fat Morris and Death Ray taking business after business off the tax rolls. Death Ray strikes again!
