Violence and crime is the fallout from people's belief in the need for government leadership. When the masses look toward corrupt and immoral leaders in a government leading the most violent nation on earth, we shouldn't be surprised at the violent and corrupt American culture that follows. The moral leadership that used to come from the family and congregation has been replaced by immoral politician whose purpose is to deceive the citizens in order to acquire more power over our lives. |

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. - Early Sunday morning, 23-year-old Richard Sankar was stabbed in the torso outside of 627 Brandywine Avenue in Schenectady.
The Schenectady Police Department has arrested 26-year-old Krishnan Appan in connection with the stabbing.
Appan has been accused of stabbing Sankar in the torso after they attended a party.
Sankar was treated on the scene by members of the Schenectady Fire Department and was transported to Albany Medical Center, where he underwent emergency surgery and is now listed in stable condition.
Appan is currently being held in the city lockup pending his arraignment Monday morning by the sitting magistrate.
