Obama seems to be very presidential in the handling of hurricane sandy....and they say that romney is silent on the issue!
Well, the lame stream media has done such a great job at bringing this to my attention....and for this reason and this reason alone.....i just may vote for obama!!!
What exactly did you expect Governor Romney to say or do during the hurricane?
He cancelled campaign events -- as did Obama. He expressed concern for the victims -- as did Obama. He also used campaign resources to collect money, food and clothing to help storm victims. All in all, I think he handled himself quite appropriately.

Fact is, (and this is all well documented) they rebranded his campaign event as a "relief effort", at the very last minute, because there wasn't even time to advertise it. Romney's own campaign workers, went to Walmart, and bought $5000 worth of canned goods, diapers, water, etc, which were given to people at the door, to place on the donation tables for the cameras.
The Red Cross, asked very specifically, NOT to donate any such items, as they cost more to transport, handle (on both ends) and distribute, than if they had just bought them locally.
NYC wasn't in need of any of those things. The restaurants, and supermarkets were still open, and the water was still as pure as any on earth (their water source is the same as Deer Park's).
Your heartfelt donation of a can of pinto beans did nothing more than get in the way.
Romney, and Ryan want to abolish federal relief efforts, and abolish FEMA, calling it "immoral".
Good. The only ones that really depend on that aid, are the leech states, that take more federal funds than they contribute. Incidently, 85% of the leech states, are red states. After the next tornado, they can reap what they've sown.
Maybe Tommy should read before he posts, you're as bad as Andrea Mitchell.
‘We Need Food, We Need Clothing’: Staten Island Residents Plead for Help 3 Days After Sandy
The residents of Staten Island are pleading for help from elected officials, begging for gasoline, food and clothing three days after Sandy slammed the New York City borough.
“We’re going to die! We’re going to freeze! We got 90-year-old people!” Donna Solli told visiting officials. “You don’t understand. You gotta get your trucks down here on the corner now. It’s been three days!”
Staten Island was one of the hardest-hit communities in New York City. More than 80,000 residents are still without power. Many are homeless, and at least 19 people died on Staten Island because of the storm.

Crews from Decatur Utilities headed up there this week, but Derrick Moore, one of the Decatur workers, said they were told by crews in New Jersey that they can't do any work there since they're not union employees......................................>>>>........................................>>>>...........................................http://www.waff.com/story/19981857/some-nonunion-ala-crews-turned-away-from-sandy-recovery
I work every summer in a beach shop in Florida. One morning a man had come in and bought a beach chair, and returned after a few hours with his family.)
Customer: “I would like to return this chair.”
Me: “Of course. Do you have a receipt?”
Customer: “No, I just went to the beach. Why would I keep the receipt?”
Me: “Is there a reason why you are returning the chair?”
Customer: “It’s broken.”
(The chair was soaked with water, coated with sand, and has a hole in the seat from what looks like a footprint on the cushion.)
Me: “I am sorry sir, but we cannot accept used, broken items for return.”
Customer: “What! I didn’t break it!”
Me: “I am sorry sir, but without a receipt it still cannot be returned.”
Customer: “Son of a b*tch! You hear that kids? This Russian b*tch is going to f*ck up our vacation!”
Me: “…Russian? I live here.”
Customer: “Don’t lie to me! I hear that accent.”
Me: “…What accent?”
Customer: “THERE! You just did it. No one talks like that in the Northeast.”
Me: “…I’m a Southerner. You’re in the South.”
Customer: “Whatever, you piece of racist sh*t!”
(The man left only after he threw the chair at a clothes rack. Quite the job experience for a 15 year old.)
...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......
The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.
STOP BEING GOOD DEMOCRATS---STOP BEING GOOD REPUBLICANS--START BEING GOOD AMERICANS
they only want unionized help and my money is non-union so I better not send it
"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."
