The Gazette reported in the B Section October 24 that the City Of Schenectady may now forward taxes (money) to Schenectady County, "let the dead bury the dead". I agree with Schenectady, do not pay your taxes.. I encourage residents foolish enough who pay all forms of property taxes to stop. Just say no! No more taxes being paid to a moribund government. What they going to do, send you notices? Evictions take forever in Schenectady & one can play the 'foreclosure' game forever. Learn how to shaft Schenectady, it will be money in the bank for you. Recently I talked to a contractor who had a project going near Ellis Hospital, the contractor had all the necessary permits. On four separate occasions, four different men, in four different city vehicles asked him to provide his work permits. Once would have been enough. Don't the city guys talk to one another, even within the same department? How many people are required to do the same job, over & over & over again? The City Of Schenectady besides being an eyesore, crime mecca, Metrolplex money pit & dumping ground for played out 'civil servants' is a shovel ready bottomless pit of incompetence. If I was a tax payer in the City Of Schenectady I would demand three of the four men in the four vehicles doing the same job over & over & over be fired, ASAP. In the Roman Legions (Roman Empire) if a battle was lost (assuming you survived) or bravery was not sufficient to the standards of Rome, one in ten of legionaries was put to the sword (thrown off a cliff or wall). Commanders were expected to fall on the sword in sufficient numbers. Time for the 1 in 10 principle to be applied to Schenectady. The remaining 9 get to keep their jobs if things improve. If not the process is repeated till someone gets the message or Schenectady is no more. Would anyone know the difference? I say no. PS I got a feeling it is Muslim's who are vandalizing the Hindu Temple in our area. Watch movie Gandhi or Pakistan, Muslim have a violent dislike for Hindus, ditto Christians.  |
