Your business Unemployment down in Capital Region from a year ago By David Lombardo Tuesday, October 23, 2012 New York's unemployment rate is down in the upstate area for September compared to September 2011.
In the Capital Region, the rate fell from 7.5 percent to 7.1 percent over this period, according to statistics released today by the state Department of Labor. A complete breakdown of counties can be found below.
While everybody else sees reductions in numbers, the Metroplex gives us an INCREASE of 1% in unemployment over the past year.
The FACT .....since that time the dems have run the county and created over 3,500 jobs.
THOSE ARE THE FACTS -- PLAIN, SIMPLE, UNVARNISHED TRUTH.
So, DV, did they create 3,500 jobs and now it's a net increase of 2,500?
DV, can you tell us where the jobs where, and make sure you do NOT count the jobs such as Shop-Rite, inasmuch as they are low paying mostly minimum wage jobs, that was NOT due to ANY of Schenectady's crew because Shop-Rite made their decision to come into this area, SR made the decision to come here.
Now, be sure you itemize which ones are jobs that never existed anywhere, no including the ones that people moved from on work location to here.
Of course, you' ve been asked to produce this kind of evidence before, and you still have not provided proof, which of course proves, ONCE AGAIN, what you say is a BIG FAT LIE.
Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent. Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.
September is even worse in Schenectady County. Highest unemployment in the Capital District. With Metrograft. With the job creating Mayor McCheese. With A-Jello at every envelope opening. E

All the created jobs were given to non Schenectady residents.
