SCHENECTADY - A shooting sends two people to the hospital. The shooting happened shortly before 11:15 Saturday evening, near 1311 State Street. Police tell us a 26-year-old man was shot in the hand. His 23-year-old girlfriend was shot in the abdomen. They were both taken to Albany Medical Center for surgery, and are expected to survive. At last check, no arrests have been made.
Let's see, that's two shooting incidents within a few days.
Interesting how the DEM city and county leaders and their plex co-conspirators can spend the taxpayers' money on downtown, building lavish new buildings and renovating existing buildings for their rich cronies, and then exempting these rich from paying any taxes, but there's no money to better protect the residents of the city.
Interesting how some say the city is improving, it's in a renaissance, obviously people who think that must be on drugs, they must be coming to the city for their drugs, but they won't buy a house in or rent in the city.
Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent. Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.
Thank God we have a "law enforcement expert" as Mayor. Another Saturday night and we ain't got nobody. Another gin mill will cure everything. Keep the DEM implosion going!

SCHENECTADY — A Sullivan County man has been charged with accidentally shooting himself in the hand and a female friend in the abdomen at a city home over the weekend, police said.
Police had initially responded to a call of a drive-by shooting at 1311 State St. about 11:15 p.m. Saturday but found that Juan Medina of the town of Rockland may have been playing with the gun when it went off by mistake, according to Sgt. Adriel Linyear, a city police spokesman.
