So WHY does Schenectady County have THE HIGHEST TAXES in the region AND almost the highest taxes in the whole dang country?????
Those who say the city and county are in a renaissance, those who cheer for the high taxes will NOT answer that question!
Because the dems are STEALING from the taxpayers and GIVING their rich and political cronies money to fix up their buildings, to build new buildings, and then exempting them from taxes.
And of course. they STEAL from us to pay Philip Morris' salary!!!!!!!!! And a salary that pays more than the governor of the whole state, despite far fewer employees, and only a teeny weeny amount of responsbility (And I'm talking the position of governor, i.e, CEO of the state, as opposed to who may be in that position at any given time)
this information must be made public to each and every homeowner in an easily understandable manner. There should be a mandate that the tax bills contain a statement that says "you are paying for the taxes of the rich downtown, you are paying a lavish salary for the head of Proctors."
