Lien firm takes on city
Collection agency suit's suit says foreclosures will kill its business

By Lauren Stanforth
Published 8:53 p.m., Tuesday, November 6, 2012

SCHENECTADY — The city's legal problems with a Florida tax collection agency continue, as the company has filed a lawsuit in federal court saying a new round of foreclosures will result in the "demise" of its business.

American Tax Funding filed a complaint in U.S. District Court Oct. 24 that says the city is moving to foreclose on hundreds of properties that ATF also owns liens on. If the city is successful in taking control of those properties, and hence taking away ATF's ability to collect back taxes on them, it "will result in the demise of ATF, as ATF would not be able to repay its bank loans obtained to finance the purchase.".........................>>>>......................>>>>........................Read more: http://www.timesunion.com/local/article/Lien-firm-takes-on-city-4014135.php#ixzz2BXYXGuFE

More renaissance news! Even the tax collection agency can't raise money from the oppressed screwed City property owners. But don't fret Marion has a plan!
She will "work together" with Peggy King, Denise Brucker and Leeser Pezzalo towards a State Control Board.

They are asking 74,000 for 819 Hampton.

They paid $100 for it last February.

The city has it assessed at $148,000

there are always suckers around

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

The city staunchly claims it iw worth $148,000 but the asking price is only $74,000?    McC says he will NOT have the city reassessed?   Why not?   Perhaps McC's cheerleader can respond here and state why the city should NOT be reassessed when values have gone down.   Well cheerleader---got a response?   (Nope, will not respond, much too embarrassed to admit that the dems are ruining the city)

You mean the big cheerleader isn't going to buy it?   Wonder why?

Because of all this so called "working together" NO ONE is going to buy any of these houses in foreclosure.   No absolute clear proof of existing ownership or who has the right to sell and what the taxes really are, etc, surely that will preclude clear title, etc.   No one with any intelligence would buy any of those properties that are involved in the city vs ATF conflict.

Response?   Too chicken to keep posting support for the city dems except under usernames of imaginary friends?

With the taxes as high as they currently are and the condition of the school system you couldn't give any of these houses away.

My question is why are we giving the tax vulture corporation $148,000 homes for $100?
