TRUE STORY...............47 year old female, severe back problem, on ssi/medicaid for 6 years. Receiving $725/mo. As of january 1st of 2013 she will no longer be receiving medicaid. Will instead receive medical benefits from MEDICARE. Out of her $725/mo check, they will deduct $135/mo for medicare...............AND..................medicare will NOT cover all of her benfits (both care and prescriptions) that she receives now.
She has no choice.....contacted an attorney......who told her this is all part of obamacare!!
Attorney said that this is just the beginning and that it is a total disaster and that folks don't have a clue what they are in for. He actually chuckled when he said that romney/ryan are being blasted for wanting to revamp medicare...........when in fact it is obama that has already destoryed it!!

This is only the beginning, the company I retired from has notified both active and retirees that as of next selection of a health-care plan which is in November that anyone with an HMO or PPO will be paying a lot more for their health plan. The only plan that will still be covered under the company paid plan will be MEP, kind of like a single payer plan.
Don't just let Obama take the credit....this railroad has been being built since the 80's....everyone concerned about the medicare cost? got news for you...
1. most surgical procedures/tests/drugs require the patient to meet certain criteria for them to happen and for payment of said procedure/tests/drugs.
2. hospitals are under pressure to make sure we don't return 'sick' otherwise they get 'fined'...ie: 90 year old has valve replacement (kind of like putting new muffler on rusty exhaust system)..almost guaranteed the elder either 1.stays in ER for quick fix lasix dose 2. hospital doesn't even allow the surgery to be done as to avoid the readmit that is more likely than not.
