Who would be crazy enough to escort a prostitute down the Moyston st dead end?

You would have a god chance of becoming dead.

Dirt piled to halt
prostitute traffic

SCHENECTADY — A vexing situation on Moyston Street has been fixed, albeit not in the way resident Joe Rodriguez wanted.
City workers dumped a pile of dirt at the front of a vacant lot to stop prostitutes from driving in to have sex with their johns.
It’s not pretty, Rodriguez complained. But, he acknowledged, it will make the neighborhood quieter at night.
He had complained this week that prostitutes were once again bringing johns to the lot, which is near his house. He had stopped them long ago by building a fence, but had to take the fence down in September when the city took title to the property in a tax foreclosure.
Rodriguez doesn’t own the land, but got the owner’s permission to build a tall fence. However, the fence was illegal under the city’s code.
The city plans to sell the land.

The prostitutes will just find another area. I hear the cemetery by southgate apartments is already full. So that piece of property is out!

One would hope that when the City took over foreclosed properties they might do something to INCREASE their values (maybe take the existing fence post and erect a code-friendly fence). But no, the City pays for dirt and for some some City worker chumps to dump it to create yet ANOTHER eyesore.

Betcha' if this home is a real money-maker, the john's are gonna' get some shovels.

How about setting up a few cops outside and arresting someone.  Nope not in Schenectady.  Use dirt.
