When you say you're from New York, people ask, "what part"?

When you reply "Schenectady", they ask "who's your case worker"?

Today I called about a house near  Maraville Lake, asking price is $49,000 but it's to settle estate and they are taking
offers. It's really nice, actually has a "bubbling brook" in the back, knotty pine wood walls in the living room etc.

When I told the agent I'd have to sell my home in Sch'dy slight pause, when I told her what St I live on in Hamiton Hill
long pause, I knew right then there was no hope

I actually pictured myself sitting in that living room looking outside at the trees and lake with a hot cup of coffee and
there was QUIET, no yelling, no breaking of bottles and windows, NO GUN SHOTS except maybe during hunting season.

We paid our mortgage off after many years at 15 percent interest, cause back then interest rates were alot higher and our credit was just ok.

When you buy a house it's an investment , well so I thought. Thought there would be a little something to leave my
kids.  Guess I'll be leaving them a house they can't sell and a tax bill thats through the roof.  Maybe I'll leave it in my
will to Proctors so they will finally have to pay some taxes

Here's the house In Mariaville, though it looks like it needs cosmetic work, I just love it :  )  http://www.coldwellbanker.com/.....il&brandType=C21

While I was scrolling through real estate outside of sch'dy for the heck of it instead of putting in the lowest price first
put in the highest. My youngest son and I oohed and aahed for an hour. Then for the heck of it put in NYC highest
houses , just take a look at this, never seen anything like it, allthough I wouldn't like the NYC life, this is astounding.
Scroll though the pics and take a look at the monthly payment !!!!!!!

Check out the comparable section as well. They're the type of places you see in movies and magazines. If I could only sell my place here in Mont Pleasant I may have just enough for a down payment...

I have a feeling the down payment would be around $2mil.
I could probably swing though it if I sold my house, and the other 20 homes on my street of course.

Look, no comments from the board cheerleader for the dems.   Too embarrassing to admit the truth, easier to avoid any comment.

He was from Schenectady too, or so he has said

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.
