ROFL!!!!!!!!!!!
I KNEW IT!!!! I KNEW IT!!!!!
Events in Schenectady this coming Sunday, Sept 30
10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Seminar for prospective first time homebuyers - McCarthy's taxpayer subsidized program to get people to buy homes IN the city
1 p.m. to 4 p.m. "Grand tour" of houses available for sale.
4:00 p.m. The Bewitching Hour in the city when Darth Vader tells his secret and announces the tax increase
But make sure that the impending tax increase is kept a big secret til AFTER the seminar and open house tour had ended.
McCarthy does NOT want to answer questions during the seminar from prospective home buyers saying "how much is this going to add to the mortgage payment?"
And if a house is listed for $70,000, McCarthy doesn't' want people offering $50,000 because of McCarthy's HUGE tax increase!!!!!!
I KNEW IT!!!!!!!!!! I KNEW McC would AVOID facing the prospective homebuyers with the budget.
ALL prospective homebuyers have a birthright entitlement to know what the city budget is BEFORE they attend a seminar, BEFORE they begin looking at houses, BEFORE they make an offer.
Obviously McC is just as dumb as his biggest cheerleader; the taxes MUST be factored into the prospective homebuyer's ability to pay. If you are approved for a payment of $1,000 a month (including taxes) and yu see a house that with the mortgage and the 2012 tax bill you can be approved to buy a certain house, well anyone with a brain would know that you probably will not be approved for that house after McC's budget is released with the tax increases and the fee increases!!!!!
Yep, McCarthy IS TRYING TO SWINDLE people into buying a home IN the city by trying to avoid telling them BEFORE they even bother to look.
And this is why the taxpayers in the city have a birthright entitlement to have specific details on how this home buying program is doing. How many houses have ACTUALLY been part of this program, how long they have been listed, what is the assessed value, the original asking price, the current asking price, how many have sold, what is the financial situation of the buyers of those that have sold, how many sales are to singles and how many to families (the indicator of whether the city is attractive to families---of course we intelligent "nayboobs" know it's NOT attractive to families), etc.
