You take one step near my house and you'll find your a** in jail so fast your head will spin. And don't even THINK about stepping in the door. Once you're in, you may not get back out, upright. |

Yeah, yeah. Just do me a favor. Before you go, pick up some of the GOOD toilet paper. None of that cheap stuff. Oh, and please make sure the ice cube trays are filled, and the liquor cabinet is unlocked. Do you have any rap music? I was planning on having a few friends from The Hill over, and they hate that cracker music. |

So why exactly do you feel it necessary to threaten and intimidate an old man?

It's called "kidding". I couldn't tell you where you live for a million dollars. Well, neither could you, but still.... |

I apologize. I meant no threat. I have said the same thing on facebook a hundred times when people announce they are going out of town. No one has ever taken it as a threat until now. Do you really think I would actually turn your home into a homeless shelter for the winter? Again, relax. Have a nice trip. Sorry to have worried you. |

You think its a joke to scare and intimidate an old man?? This poor guy is now afraid to leave his home. You're a sorry excuse for a man, a pathetic sin of a b**ch.
He's been looking forward to leaving this weekend and now you've intimidated himso much he's afraid to leave his house. Nice job a**hole. |
| "Holy crap!! Did she EAT Bob??"
Not everything on the Interweb is truth. Only a gullible fool would believe otherwise.

Comedy isn't intimidation. Harassment and name calling is. You should have advised him of privacy issues before allowing him to blurt out his personal information. Children are taught at an early age not to divulge such information. Don't blame me for his ignorant postings. Clearly to any truly objective reader, it is clear that no threat was made or implied. It was comedy and the other poster immediately recognized it as that. I have apologized that I made him feel offended, after he told me. Harassing me and calling me names serves no purpose. I understand that you feel compelled to defend your dad, but you should have defended him earlier by teaching him the rules of public disclosure of personal information. You let him come on here and rant endlessly and then announce his personal business. Perhaps you too, don't understand the rules of keeping personal business private. |

That's funny, I thought we were all adults here - I didn't think I'd have to worry about discussing life with fellow adults. If I had known I was dealing with children, perhaps I would have taken a different approach.

I rant endlessly? Yeah, that's funny. |

I read an FBI warning back in about 2000 about posting personal information on web sites and message boards. Chat rooms had already accounted for several crimes where a poster thinking that they were somewhat anonymous, had posted personal information, that led to crimes.
Innocent postings like "We're off on a 2 week cruise" might mean that your home is a target for thieves.
The FBI advice was to never post personal information. Never give your name, address, phone number, etc. Some criminals cruise social media for the purpose of targeting their crimes. What may seem like innocent chit chat might expose you to a crime. |

Rusty doesn't even realize when he's distributing personal information. He gave out personal information about his son, long before his son started posting here. |

I never posted my address, name or phone number. Yet, at least one person here claims to know where I live and has threatened me with having parties in my house and inviting people without my knowledge or consent. Again, I thought we were adults here having civilized conversations - but I guess I'm nothing but a "ranter" and unwelcome in these stomping grounds. |

He gave out personal information about his son, long before his son started posting here.
What personal information? The fact that my son is a businessman? The fact he's got a lifestyle that doesn't match yours? Are you some sort of stalker? Can't carry on an adult conversation? |

Anything that you type here is available to the entire world. Your son should have advised you of the rules before letting you loose. And yes, public forums are the improper place to discuss your personal life. |

I have never seen a post saying that anyone knows where you live or even your name. So please name the person that you say claims to know where you live. If you are talking about the post where you said your name is really shackleford, and I sent you a pm saying that you shouldn't post such statements because there is only one shackleford listed in Schenectady county. That was advice. I will not repeat the personal information that you posted regarding your son. |

Never even remotely crossed my mind that it WASN'T a joke. Adults can jest in good fun, you know? |
