It hasn't been a secret since he was a teenager, which was many years ago. I'm not sure he ever tried to hide it. I think I gave up on the idea of grandkids when he was 17 or 18, but it's cool - he's done well for himself and his partner is a great guy. |

My son and I have a great relationship. He was raised to understand that we'd love him no matter what road in life he chose. Back then, it wasn't "acceptable" to be "different" - but about 10 years ago, he FINALLY came "out" in public, and since then I've never seen him so happy. I'm very proud of him, he's a successful businessman, great son and his love is as strong as any hetero relationship. Thank you for your words. |
