I'm disappointed in you Rusty. May I submit the possibility that Rachel72 and yourself are incarnations of this Ron? I hope not.

I get disappointed in myself all the time, it's ok.  If you're NOT Ron, then I apologize for the accusation and comments.  It's honestly way too much to keep straight, and I've got better things to do, like figuring out which pizza places deliver reliably and discretely - and which beer I'll be trying tonight.  (The co-op in Niskayuna always has a great selection of craft beers in their coolers!)

Thank you Rusty. I'm not Ron. Really! Just an old man with agoraphobia wishing to participate in meaningful discussions of the issues facing our city and surrounding towns with like minded people. If others here would rather avoid the issues and play a foolish and pointless game, then so be it. I for one will not participate in such tomfoolery.

I accept your apology.

Ha Ha. Thank you for the invitation Rusty. I very much appreciate your offer, but must decline. I am extremely uncomfortable in crowds these days and have become something of a shut in. When I am surrounded by a group of people my anxiety level increases dramatically and very debilitating panic attacks ensue. My therapist suggests that it may stem from the world events of the past decade.

I have since the beginning of this year begun practicing Eastern methods of relaxation and meditation in the hope that I can once again return to a somewhat normal life. And with that I must leave for awhile to meditate. Ta Ta.

The Proctors Un-Gala A CELEBRATION OF CREATIVITY
Philip’s fire CEO Morris’ passion, ideas have carried Proctors to new heights. An event Saturday will pay tribute to him and raise funds for the theater’s educational programs.
BY BILL BUELL Gazette Reporter

Strange thing here, there is not one mention of the educational programs at Proctors or the money going towards them in this article.

Maybe there will be a "Part II" when Proctors figures out how they'll hide this money.

Hey, have you found your safe cracker yet? The Plex found theirs.

I too have severe anxiety, mine started in high school, didn't know what it was back then just had to get out of the
school. I'm 52 so have had them along time. Used to end up in the ER almost every month.

From what I am told mine stems from a VERY abusive step "father" and other events in my life.

I"ve been on xanax for about 14 years and works very well for me.

For years my family didn't understand why I would decline invitiations to go out and eat, or go to family gatherings etc. They understand now.

If its ok to ask has your primary doctor checked your heart for mitral prolapse and also thyroid issues. Sometimes
other conditions can cause or add to anxiety.

Sending you a BIG caring hug.

I gotta say, you are in deed a breath of refreshment around here.  You seem so compassionate and caring.  Truly the signs of a good person.

Hope you have a great day!

Rusty   Thank you, got me choked up, emotional couple of days.

There are some wonderful people on here, though we may argue on political issues or social issues, what's important is that we do care.

My hubby dosent' call me a breath of refreshment, I can't say what he calls me on here it would all get bleeped out

Take a look at Proctor's arcade at night.   They have put up bars at night!

Why?   BECAUSE OF THE CRIME DOWNTOWN

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

Yep, lots of bars in the Renaissance.

What's the chances that the taxpayers footed the bill for those?

It is art....maybe he will sponsor a class how to make a movie about Muhammad???? then get more taxes raised......oh wait
we can't have 'art' it has to bottled to fit the current genre of the times/leadership.....

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.
