MPD

Multiple personality disorder.

Indeed. Are these all names that this person has used here? I only ask, because as I go back and read older threads in an attempt to get a better understanding of what goes on here I notice there are some names that appear to no longer be in use. Names such as peeper, Brad Littlefield, mobile terminal, alias, smoking bananas, to name a few. I also recognize some of the ones you listed. Are these all names the person known as Ronnie has used? Are these people whose identity's have been revealed and thus no longer are members? Why would anyone use multiple names? I don't get it. I really am starting to question my joining.

Alias left us at the beginning of August.  A lot of us lifted a beer in his honor, and had pizza delivered.

I remember the other names you mentioned - each had their own story.  I don't think they were the same person however.

I am beginning to understand more how this site works. Take the discussion as far off topic as possible so as not to provide answers to questions. I admit that I fell into that myself, so I will attempt to come full circle and ask the question I asked in my very early reply.

According to the women who voted in favor of the sales tax agreement last night, they had many hours of discussions on the subject, but still needed to call an executive session to discuss it further. Where is the record of these discussions? Were all these discussions held in executive session? Are we not privy to this information? If indeed the "hours and hours" of discussion were withheld from public view then is this even legal?

Please can someone provide me with some answers? I think these issues are far more important than the childish games you folks seem to want to play here.

The following is an excerpt of a blog entry I found. I think it's relevant to a point a made to an earlier post in this thread pertaining to Roberts Rules of Order. The Blogger is comparing last nights council meeting to ones she attended in Maine. I put a passage in bold text because it also references a point I made earlier. Interesting.

"At every meeting, the issues were different, but there was a central theme: Roberts Rules of Order. Standing on chairs to make themselves heard, they shouted relevant passages to block each other’s ideas or force theirs through to a vote. They interrupted each other by yelling, “Point of order!” and then arguing over whether the Rules were being followed correctly.

Anyone trying to make an unpopular speech could be interrupted by “Point of question!” and then questioned mercilessly.

So last night, I had to smile when a man stood up during the City Council meeting and told the council it had not held a proper vote.

Elmer Bertsch demanded the council vote on whether to go into executive session, rather than just leaving. He was quite right, and the city attorney agreed, and the council began to vote.

And then another man stood up, and shouted that they couldn’t vote on going into executive session yet.

A motion had been made and seconded on a different issue, and Robert’s Rules of Orders say that once that has happened, a decision must be made on that motion before any other topic is brought up.

Council members looked at each other. But I had to smile, because this was a popular topic in Maine. A child there knows that once you get a second, nobody can change the subject.

The city attorney knew too, so the motion was amended to involve an executive session, a vote was held, and the council trooped off.

That’s the one thing Maine didn’t do — secret meetings. I can’t imagine what an angry mob of Mainers would’ve done if their leaders had caucused in secret to strategize on how to respond to their demands.

But, sadly, the response from most of the people at the council meeting was to simply pack up and leave."

"Loki" in Polish refers to little girls curls.

Maybe Ron is trying to tell us all something.

WAY more secrets in this thread than we thought.

Don't date much do you Mr. Severson?

Rachel72, although you are correct in the Polish usage of Loki, I would ask if you are familiar with Norse Mythology. If you were then you would realize that the name I use here is derived from it. Loki is in fact a figure in Norse Mythology who  in some quarters is considered the Norse God of Mischief. If you'd like to learn more you can read it here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loki

Also if you are interested in learning the old Norse Language here is one website you can visit to learn more:

http://www.omniglot.com/writing/oldnorse.htm

Also Loki plays a prominent role in Marvel Comics:

http://marvel.com/universe/Loki

I also might add that everyone continues to avoid answering any of the questions I've posed, but would rather insinuate I am somebody else. I'm disappointed. I thought this site had more to offer. I guess I was wrong.

A gentleman who approached the rail.....stated that he did not know of any Legislature meetings requesting a public hearing on this tax subject...

it seems as tho who were for it were in a hurry to pass it thru.....the two women who asked for more talks were a part of the conspiracy...(just sayin' it looked like to me....

The rules were not followed and all they had to do was table it.....but they questiopned and confused.....that's what they do......it was planned and especially

when the rep from the Legislature spoke about why it was good for the city......what a joke....and how disgraceful it was....these are politicians???

Riggi leads the race for finding out the truth and sticking to it...along with Erickson....they both are not satisfied of how this went down....

NEW LEADERS//////    CHANGE IS NEEDED.....COULDN'T GET ANY WORSE..

BTW.......THE MAYOR WAS TEXTING WHILE THIS WAS GOING ON.....ANYONE NOTICE THAT ????.....REAL CLASS.
