James Walsh, who represented Godallah, said that his client had indicated to him that he thought the catchy moniker would be a good name for an up-and-coming rap artist.

"He had indicated that he would be a big rap artist, and now that doesn't look viable," Walsh said. "Mr. Godallah had a very difficult life and was someone who struggled with succeeding."

Schenectady Police Lt. Eric Clifford said while street names are common, so too are people who shorten or truncate their names. For example, William may become "Will" or Paul turns into "P."

The Schenectady cop said that in some instances multiple people will assume the same nickname.

"We often know street names before we know government names," he said, adding that the department maintains an "active database" of street names along with government names. In some instances, people only know the street names of their friends, which can be problematic for police, Clifford said.

this is a given...

most drug dealers use the Alphabet from ( A TO Z) (for identification.......so, if becomes very difficult to actually arrest them......let alone identify who they

really are.......
