Same can be said about a 40 week human FETUS as a 21 week human FETUS.  Life is never assured...But, I would like to think in a compassionate sane society, all human life is looked at as worth saving.

Point of this thread is why is medical treatment of a botched abortion denied when a premature birth is treated?

I don't know that your statement is true.  Is medical treatment denied???  I mean some where other than
FoxSnooze and in the Rabid Right Press?

(By "all human life", I assume you are referring to human beings... not just life that is human.)

It isn't "ribid right press", it is his twice voting against the Illinois version of Born Alive Infant Protection Act (BAIPA) as State Senator.  BAIPA was legislation that required doctors to care for fetus' living outside the womb after a botched abortions. Obama reportedly worried that the legislation would infringe on a women's right to choose.

It looks like the difference between the Federal BAIPA and the State bill is the problem.  The bill was originally
different from the Federal bill, which Obama supported.  His opposition to the state bill was due to language
that could be used to ban abortions.
In any event, the final version that passed in Illinois, after Obama left, would have been acceptable and
Obama spokesmen said that he would have also signed.

Wording of this bill did change several times between first vote and final passage.

Once a BABY, IS a BABY, it should get the same care as any other BABY.

There are some who argue every case of abortion as if they ALL were late term abortions, when in reality only
a very small percentage of those occur, and many are preformed for valid reasons.

Do you have uterus?
can you feel the movement?
do you have the hormones?

because I bet if you have testicles and someone kicks them you think you are giving birth to a FETUS. prior to that
they are just stirrings in your loins.

trying to separate baby/pregnancy from hormones and what happens is like having your thyroid removed and not
expecting any kind of bodily repercussions from lack of TSH/T4/T3 etc etc.....

testosterone to ejaculation to olympic finish

conception to a crap load of hormones that don't just turn off after abortion, spontaneous or otherwise....

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.
