Would that be considered justifiable homicide?

Of course not!
The definition of "homicide":

homicide
1.the killing of one human being by another.
2.a person who kills another; murderer.

Since there is only one PERSON involved... it wouldn't be 'homicide'.

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

You invent your definition Tbird... I'll stick with the one from the dictionary.

I didn't invent it, I just look at the practical application of it. See Scott Petersen.
Tell me how I'm wrong?

OK!  I got ya on this one!

Of the "human beings" involved... Scott Peterson isn't one of them.  He's much less than human!

Only if that were true..if it were, he'd be euthanized by now.

Cicero shuns the term "legitimate rape"  then insists on "Legitimate Depression" or "Legitimate Anxiety" for his bigotry.

I insisted on nothing...Just pointing out that in your example of states that "prohibit" abortion after a certain stage of gestation is not really a prohibition since the exceptions for a "mother's health" can be pretty much anything.

America doesn't perform a million and a half abortions each year by having prohibitions.

if the viable baby daddy decided he would like to have said zygote grown out to be a 'viable human being'...what say you Box?

I mean really because being the card carrying ovary you are, you would side with said pregnant woman who wanted the
abortion....because you think that after her allowed use of her vag!na for your romp(consented) the least you could do
was offer support for abortion of said zygote because you really have no say or you don't have a connection to the possible
outcome of a 'viable human being'....

just curious how far you follow the travel of your sperm and where it 'sets up shop'

forgot that vag!na is a nasty word but I can type PENIS PENIS PENIS PENIS PENIS PENIS PENIS

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

The Facts:

Just to be clear, almost all of the abortions that Cicero and others are posting about are the 1.5% that are
21 weeks or more.
The other 98.5% occur before fetal viability at 20 weeks or less.
The the vast majority of them...about 95% occur BEFORE 15 weeks.
With over 60% occurring in the 9 weeks time frame.. they are discussing a developing fetus the
size of a peanut.

Even if you take these statistics at face value.  With approximately 1.5 million abortions per year in America, that would mean that the population in the City of Gloversville is aborted after the 21 week mark every single year.  Not bad!

size doesn't matter....it's the outcome.....

isn't that the motto?

after being raped one would know if they were pregnant long before 21 weeks

and yes most spontaneous abortions happen in the first trimester.....

I'm glad that you settled that Cicero.  If you wouldn't miss the population of Gloversville, then you
wouldn't miss those aborted "clumps of cells"  either.

Well, 22,500 late term abortions annually isn't really a small number.  I know 1.5% is a small number.  But then again, that is how we have fun with numbers and statistics.
