Move to Somalia if you don't like it.

I don't want to live in a country with no govt... (YOU DO).
I don't want to abandon a government in the USA that, more than most, represents it's citizens (YOU DO)
I am happy with the form of govt that exists in the USA, (YOU AREN'T)

Somalia is the type of govt you seem to want... a few local warlords and that's it!

Even with all that died in somalia's civil war, the Somalia government or lack there of has not killed as many people world wide than the US government.  It's not even close.  Just sayin.

Of course you are happy with it...I'll bet the government rewarded you well for some government ordered murders.  It pays to obey.

If it represents the citizens, we are a nation of violent war mongers.

Again... you post about a subject you know nothing about... and the more you post on it, the
more it shows your ignorance.

It's Cicero's position that the USA is a nation of "violent war mongers"
and Somalia is not.

"Stuck on Stupid"!

How many foreign countries has Somalia bombed or invaded?

Some folks only support the wars that their favorite political party starts!

And both parties are guilty of killing the innocent. They both did a fine job in Iraq and continue today in afghanistan and beyond!

Box keeps saying it's ok, it's just the way war is.

The problem is we are not at war.

We certainly aren't at war with Pakistan, where we bomb regularly with drones.

Afghanistan and Iraq were simply invasions.

No declarations of war were ever made.

You can't claim innocent life killings as part of war, when it isn't a war.

It's just cross border executions.

The Pakistanis hate us.

Good job.

Apparently this Ex Marine was being held for mental evaluation.  The story is mostly HYPE about a lawsuit, not
about his detention.

If his rights were violated, then he will win his lawsuit... but I doubt that is the reason for the lawsuit.
He sounds like other 'chip on his shoulder' anti govt crusaders who are looking for the publicity and
hype connected with a detention. Whether he will win or not is yet to be seen, but he did make it on the
evening news, and will be a hero in the eyes of his peer group.

No Cissy... that is your term.  If his rights under the US constitution (the one you don't believe in) were
violated, he will likely win his lawsuit.

Again, this isn't about Winning or Losing... It's about the HYPE!

I give him a 50/50 chance at winning, even though a judge already called his detention illegal the state will do everything in its power to justify this Nazi tactic.

No, we've had this conversation before.  You clearly stated that you believe rights are granted by government.  So they didn't violate HIS rights, they violated the rights the government granted him.
