Maybe they come for you next, Box. Maybe in the middle of the night. I am sure it will be justified, by your standards. Who knows how many will stand up for you?

Hey! Mistakes are made... but rarely.  I'm not afraid of "MY GOVERNMENT"... In fact, compared to most, we
have an exceptional GOVT both today and throughout history.  I sleep well at night, and the last thing
that might keep me awake is worries about my GOVT!

I understand Right Wing Paranoia fuels the hatred of anything govt... and that will likely persist into at least
the near future.

I once had a cat... the typical "scaredy-cat"... he would jump at every noise, run into the cellar when
the garbage men went by and would hide all day if there were any type of construction going on in the
area.  When I put a new roof on the house, I didn't see him for most of a week, till the roofers noise
stopped.  He would settle down at night and be a typical cat, but if anything in the house changed, it
would upset his whole day.
I felt sorry for him.  Most of his life was spent in worry and fear... yet he was perfectly safe from any
possible danger in the house.
Kind of like some Right Wingers on this board... every day is a day of FEAR... What will the GOVT do to me
today... much like my cat who lived his entire life in perfect safety... every day was spent worrying about
the imagined danger of what their GOVT MIGHT do.
Poor cat... had everything he could want, but never learned to let go of his fear and enjoy it.

Hating the government is a longstanding American tradition.

It isn't a right wing issue, it's an American issue.

It's caused by aggressive government interference into the lives of the citizens and the rest of the world.

The drug war, prohibition, imminent domain, invasions of many countries, drone attacks, Waco, Ruby Ridge, an imperialist power, an exporter of destructive capitalism, an arrogant crusader against Islam and a rapacious over-consumer casually destroying the planet.

The US government nuked 2 cities in a terrorist attack to force the Japanese government to surrender.

The government forces all citizens to be accomplices in their use of force policies.

People don't want to be associated with the homicidal maniacs known as the US government.

The government uses the same force on it's own people.

The cops, the DEA, the ATF, the IRS etc.

It isn't a right wing issue, it's an American issue.

Somehow it has become a crime to not support death, violence and destruction performed by our elected officials and various government agencies.

When someone objects to the cops bashing someone's head in or beating them into submission, they are labeled cop haters or crazies.

American government creates enemies every day outside the country as well as inside.

The government is guilty of war crimes, illegal detentions, human rights violations and a list of other violations/incidents a mile long.

At least Obama acknowledges the US makes bad choices and offers apologies.

The GOP forbids apologizing for death, violence and mass destruction.

That's a great story box...The moral of the story is...If you stay in the house and let your master take care of you by eating when he tells you the eat, sh*t where he tells you to sh*t, and sleep where he tells you to sleep, get the shots he tells you to get, you will be safe and sound...But one thing you must never do, that is leave the house.  For if you leave the house and be free, you could get hit by that garbage truck, crushed by the falling contruction debris.

IN SHORT - NEVER BITE THE HAND THAT FEEDS YOU!

Box's philosophy is, it's better to be a well fed house pet, than free.

OMG! That's funny!!!
L4Life posts:
"It isn't a right wing issue, it's an American issue."...
Then goes on to list what RIGHT WINGERS hate about their Government!

L4Life... believe me, your post does NOT represent what the Average American thinks about their Govt.

Is the Constitution a right wing publication in your mind?

No. Right wingers bastardize the Constitution to fit their agenda, but the actual document is neither
right or left wing IMO.

If I am the minority, then your claim is that the majority supports:

Aggressive government interference into the lives of the citizens and the rest of the world.

The drug war, prohibition, imminent domain, invasions of many countries, drone attacks, Waco, Ruby Ridge, an imperialist power, an exporter of destructive capitalism, an arrogant crusader against Islam and a rapacious over-consumer casually destroying the planet.

American government creating enemies every day outside the country as well as inside.

Government  war crimes, illegal detentions, human rights violations and a list of other violations/incidents a mile long.

You claim that my view is not the majority, therefore the majority must believe the opposite.

YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO SAY THAT!

That is legitimate actions of the state as defined and authorized by the state.  The men that carried out the mission of mass murder are actually considered "hero's" for obeying their orders.

We had to one up the Nazi's in the area of mass genocide.  And booooy did we.

Quoted Text
ter·ror·ism
noun
1. the use of violence and threats to intimidate or coerce, especially for political purposes.

What a strange post.  If I don't support total Right Wing view... then I must support total Left Wing view???
L4Life must be one of those 'absolute people'... it's either this way or the opposite... there is no place
in between.
Just listen to the options... YOU MUST SUPPORT:
Aggressive government interference into the lives of the citizens and the rest of the world...
The drug war,
prohibition,
imminent domain,
invasions of many countries,
drone attacks,
Waco, Ruby Ridge,
an imperialist power,
an exporter of destructive capitalism,
an arrogant crusader against Islam and a rapacious over-consumer casually destroying the planet.

How can you read this and not laugh!!!  OMG!
Have you ever heard of "a middle ground"... Never mind.  I can tell by your post that you haven't.

As I suspected... you're one of those 'absolute people'... It is yes or no... no other option.
A pity.  It really limits your thinking.

I support Americans right to bear arms.  Private gun ownership is a right.... so that is a YES???
BUT
I also support strong gun laws similar to NY's pistol permit laws, and hope someday there is a
federal law similar to NY... so that is a NO???

The all or nothing thinking is common on the Right.  Love it or leave it kind of thinking. I sure don't buy
into it.

no because every time a 'mouth piece' gets elected regardless of the party he/she becomes a 'jesus' of sorts....

Was that "The Government" that invaded Iraq or the GOP, or just GWB?

My reply was to L4life, using his terms "The GOVT"

The US military invaded Iraq... based on lies from G Worst Bush.  Had the lies not been there, the war
would not have occurred... and 4400+ American Patriots would still be alive.
