U.S. Economic Recovery Is Weakest Since World War II

WASHINGTON — The recession that ended three years ago this summer has been followed by the feeblest economic recovery since the Great Depression.

Since World War II, 10 U.S. recessions have been followed by a recovery that lasted at least three years. An Associated Press analysis shows that by just about any measure, the one that began in June 2009 is the weakest.

The ugliness goes well beyond unemployment, which at 8.3 percent is the highest this long after a recession ended.

I wonder where the economy would be if the OTHER half of congress... The Republicans... were on the side of
"America", instead of being on the side of "We Hope He Fails"?

Neither side knows how to fix the economy, they keep saying the recession ended but I don't believe it ever did. Remember both sides threw money at the problem hoping to fix it but it only prolonged the suffering. The economy needs to be reset and that can only be done by allowing the market to correct itself, not being manipulated by congress. Think of the housing market, prices dropped or in some areas continue to drop because it is correcting itself, the market will eventually decide where it needs to be.

That is because this is the new American economy....The elite controlling the government change the measuring sticks that "officially" measure the economy, and over time they will convince the people that what we now consider a failed or poor economy as a normal and even successful economy.   Both parties are in the business of fooling the masses.  The public in general is unable to defend themselves against political rhetoric that changes and redefines their reality.

The largest generation(boomers) is about to collect on the largest entitlement system this world has ever seen(Social Security and Medicare) and every generation beneath them needs to be convinced that this new poorer American lifestyle is normal in order for them to continue to pay these entitlements.  

There is no such thing as a free lunch.  We are being condidtion to believe we are greedy if we do not want to sacrifice our lives and the fruits of our labor to pay for the boomers.  They don't want us to realize how immoral this system is.  Everybody is just a slave to these systems.
