Anyone hear it?

How come the Mayor and none of the other council people will go on?

Riggi stated that they have no clue what the city's finances are this year.   Maybe the cheerleaders for wild uncontrolled spending on downtown can answer why the mayor and his administration won't tell the truth?

Some church called who is in the mess with the ATF issue and how they are not even getting to talk to staff in the city.

Another caller said that he was talking yesterday someone moved from Furman St I think it was into the northside neighborhood and that person said northside is just as bad as Hamilton Hill.

Another caller said that most people don't seem to know that downtown is all tax exempt and that's why homeowners tax bills are so high.

Another caller questioned why Eric Ely, gone from NYS over two years ago, still has a tax exemption on his house in the city.   Riggi didn't know that, but then, the mayor and city administration aren't going to admit to their failures in keeping records.

Another caller said he can get any answers from Tina, the assessor.   Gee, doesn't Tina work for the taxpayers and is thus obligated by law to provide service to the taxpayers and answer their questions.

Riggi said they (the council) do not get any quarterly finance reports from the mayor.   Why not?    Even the cheerleader for downtown would post here that a council should get quarterly reports, yes?   Oh yeah, he's not posting here much anymore, too embarrassed that his dems are causing a big failure in the city.

Very interesting show

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

No, it will be 18-24 months before that happens. When the rest of the 90 year old Italions' go under, the slime will infest the remainder of the flats up there.

What radio show was this?
