Every now & then one sees something that 'grabs you'. Driving through Scotia, Rt. 50, I notice a sign that read "SPARTANS, Scotia Pop Warner Football". The Spartans are looking for recruits. The Spartan in times past were Greeks, Sparta was a Greek Warrior State. Greeks in BC (Before Christ) were not as today. The ancient Greeks were 'Keltic' not the 80% Turkish as they are now. Alexander The Great, a Macedonian looked like an Irish or Scottish man, not a Mediterranean as we know them today.

I was thinking the other day that the Rotterdam Pop Warner team needs to move from it's current field to one out in the Rotterdam Junction. I mean really, who around here is a Raiders fan? LOL well I was just inquiring 'cause I remember seeing a bunch of little league folks at a meeting awhile back and asking the board that same question, and being reassured by that collection of weasels that the fields would be started on time, and since I haven't seen any work started down at the new site, that is if they're going to be able to use that, since it sorta sounded like that maybe there could be a problem, but the weasels once again reassured the little league folks that discussions were being held and a solution would be forthcoming, so I was just wondering if anyone knew the projected start date for construction, or were the weasels just paying lip service to the folks who were looking for an honest answer 'cause that's basically what weasels do..............
