Somehow I doubt it. Nobody wants to touch this one with a ten foot pole. At most, you'll see mental health advocates trying to block the death penalty, not that it matters. Despite numerous people on death row, Colorado has only actually executed 2 people in the last 50 years.
I have to laugh when I see an episode of "Law and Order", and they say, "confess, and we'll take the death penalty off the table". Nice try. New York State hasn't executed a single person since 1963, so the line for that one is moving damned pretty slow.

ABC News and Brian Ross are apologizing for an "incorrect" report that James Holmes, the suspect in the Colorado theater shooting, may have had connections to the Tea Party.
"An earlier ABC News broadcast report suggested that a Jim Holmes of a Colorado Tea Party organization might be the suspect, but that report was incorrect," ABC News said in a statement.
