No Shock Here...

A new Pew Research survey shows President Obama opening up a wide lead over Mitt Romney in the
presidential race, 51% to 41%.

Key findings: "By a 52% to 37% margin, more voters say they have an unfavorable than favorable
view of Romney
... Obama's image remains, by comparison, more positive -- 50% offer a favorable
assessment of the president, 45% an unfavorable one."

Again... No Shock Here:

Obama a 70.8% chance of winning the Electoral College

Even before today's Pew Research poll showing President Obama with a double-digit lead nationally over
Mitt Romney, Nate Silver's latest election forecast gives Obama a 70.8% chance of winning the Electoral
College -- an all time high this year.

"It's the vote in November that counts - not the polls in August - but they represent the most conspicuous
sign that incumbent presidents are hard to defeat, and that Mr. Romney has some work left to do to win
the Electoral College."

You can't go by one poll.  Most polling shows that it is still a dead heat nationally and that Romney is in a dead heat in the battleground states (all states that Obama won in 200.   Romney is poised to sweep all the states that McCain won plus North Carolina (which Obama won in 200 and only has to pick up 3 or 4 of the battleground states to win.

Plus - the House will stay in Republican hands and the Senate looks to be sliding into the GOP camp.

Confirming 'Rome' was just full of win on alot of levels.

I personally thought the series could go another year or two, but they ended it well.

It's interesting that on the very first post of this thread, you didn't post:
"You can't go by one poll."
I guess that rule only applies when Obama is behind... not ahead.

I could give a rat's a$$ what the polls say! It really don't matter much whether it's Barak 'insane' obama or Mitts-fit....they are all the same. And again......it wouldn't surprise me to see 'insane obama' throw this election. He ain't stupid...he knows that the next 4 years will be 'worse' than the last, and he ain't gonna want that stain on his or the liberal party's record. Neither of these dimwits are going to be able to handle what's gonna come down the pike....imho

Both sides mere actors in the same play(the system).   The actors come/go but the plays plot will stay the same.   Always in the end of Romeo and Juliet they both die.  Plot/script always stay the same.   It's the mechanics of the system that need tweaking.

Biggest piece of junk poll yet.  The number of registered democraps samples was more than twice as high in terms of the variance in 2008. In other words, in 08' the dems had 7% more turnout than reps, and this poll was using 19% more democraps. Some pollsters are so biased in what they WANT as a result that they don't care how bad they make their credibility look for the world. Just like in science, the science of polling has Sycophant leftists who are leftists first and professionals second.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."
