Canadians have universal govt managed health care... and more money.  How can that be???

And before I hear... "Canadians wait in line for sub par health care"... just ask Sarah Palin.  She used to leave
the USA and cross the border to Canada to get her health care.

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

Neither is the part of Canada she goes to. We're not talking Vancouver, Montreal, or Toronto here.
Alaska is bordered by the Yukon.
So there is better health care in THE YUKON, than there is in Alaska.

If you've never had health care in Canada (I have) just sit there and be quiet, because all you "knowledge" of the subject is from rumor, propaganda, and third hand information.

And second hand information about one person's one experience is gospel.

As a child...her parents took her. Another Box "let's not tell the entire story" moment.

It's first hand information for me, so at least I'm not basing any of my opinions on other people's experiences, or lack, there of.

But if medical care in Alaska was some how better, wouldn't they have taken her there instead?

Until she was five, she lived  in Skagway, Alaska, Population 920...it's right on the BC border

Here it is on google maps
https://maps.google.com/maps?o.....Aw&ved=0CJoBELYD
It's pretty Obvious it was MUCH closer to Canadian Civilization with Medical facilities than American/Alaskan
It's simple geography, its not much more involved than that.

Once they moved to Eagle river  and then Wasillia... I seriously doubt they would travel the over 300 miles (as the crow flies) for routine medical care

But Box likes to tell "less than the full truth" so it better supports his argument.
