Two sought in Schenectady drive-by shooting Wednesday, July 18, 2012
SCHENECTADY — Police are looking for two people involved in an afternoon shooting at a house in the Mont Pleasant neighborhood.
At about 5:30 p.m., three or four shots were fired at 1035-1037 Glendale Place from a white sport-utility vehicle, believed to be a late model Chevy Tahoe or Suburban, police said.
The vehicle was driven by a black man with a goatee and shaved head, about 5 foot, 9 inches tall and weighing 200 pounds. There was a female in the passenger seat, according to police radio transmissions. A silver revolver was believed to have been used in the shooting.

I am sure that makes everyone feel better now. Especially the parents of the children who play on playgrounds. It is nice to know that the bullets are just 'stupid bullets" or "trivial rounds" and really not meant to harm anyone.

This is happening in every NE City-lol. Thank God Mayor McCheese is a former investigator and can don his hat, pipe and trench coat. Mt. Pleasant is now worse than Ham Hill. If possible. Take a drive up former neighborhood business district Crane St during daylight hours. Keep the DEM implosion going!

It is worse. I often use the 10th ave/oak st bridge shortcut to avoid altamont ave when coming back home from the east, but now, I won't use it at night, and my wife doesn't use it at all. It's a shame. My grandparents owned a house on 3rd ave until the late 70's and I lived there until was five and actually spent half my kindergarten year at Hamilton...But lets sweep stuff like this under the rug while we trumpet the Proctors business area where the only people that benefit are the business owners.
