Exactly! We succeed because of our individual initiative, but also because we do things together. You didn't educate yourself. You didn't pay for the infrastructure or the services that helped you succeed. Working together we can succeed as a country.
yeah, but don't just take from me to give to someone else....the glue is in the freedom to CHOOSE to do it together..
but noooooooo, the leaders chose to make 'enemies' via the 1%'ers and the middle class and the poor and the rich..
that's what you call TOGETHERNESS talk.....shame on ALL the leaders....
especially the leaders like Tonko who INSIST on making victims by the very words and actions he uses to get elected over and over and over again....
yes, folks helped a business grow however,
1. it wasn't their neck on the line 2. it's not your lawyer calling in the middle of the night 3. it's your choice to stay or find another job
no one makes someone keep a job......
we have pigeon-holed a whole generation and 1/2 into set molds....molds we get to choose from on a public school shelf...
we have a cast system in education....based on industrialization

There is a grain of truth in what Mr. Obama said -- that is NOTHING that happened in HIS life unless someone else made it happen. Among those Tony Rezko (the convicted felon who arranged a sweetheart deal for Obama to purchase his multimillion dollar home in Chicago at a ridiculously low price) and Rev. Jeremiah "GD America" Wright. How about his wealthy grandparents who sent him to THE most exclusive private prep school in America (despite Obama's claim that he grew up in poverty) ? How about the special help (because he claimed to be a FOREIGN STUDENT) he got going to expensive prestigious universities ?

someone else MADE it happen? or HELPED him?
because when you or any leader says that someone MADE that happen it's like saying
"you just had great sex because I MADE that happen in your life, I don't understand why they call it rape?"

America's leading small business association has slammed Barack Obama for showing 'an utter lack of understanding' of the country's entrepreneurs when he told them: 'If you've got a business - you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen.' In a hard-hitting statement to Mail Online, the National Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB) president Dan Danne said: 'What a disappointment to hear President Obama's revealing comments challenging the significance of America's entrepreneurs. Mr Danne added: 'His unfortunate remarks over the weekend show an utter lack of understanding and appreciation for the people who take a huge personal risk and work endless hours to start a business and create jobs.'...............>>>>..................>>>>..............Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/new.....s.html#ixzz20sRKCOg1

Bottomline - President Obama has yet again proven that for someone with the best education that money can buy (most expensive and exclusive boarding school for his secondary education and the Columbia and Harvard for college and law school studies) he is woefully ignorant of American History and the simple fact that individuals on their own worked hard and took the risks that built the greatest nation (politically, economically, etc.) in the world. Maybe he learned it but spent too much time listening to Jeremiah Wright and the cadre of domestic terrorists that the Obamas called "just friends and neighbors". Whatever the case, he doesn't deserve another 4 years in the White House.
One more reason to proudly support Mitt Romney for President in 2012.

Orville and Wilbur did make their own glider, but for the first heavier than air 'flying machine'... they needed a light weight engine. The engine was built by Charles Taylor... So your poster is basically correct... The Wright brothers didn't build the first airplane alone... they had help.
