More evidence of the implosion of this poorly administered County. Central Park is a total disaster; pit bull run, with garbage and graffiti. Thank God for the Rose Garden volunteers who keep that away from the City Hall morons. It's so bad they have to bribe taxpayers with pizza to clean up the waste City crews leave. Smaller City parks should be closed because the DEM morons can't maintain anything.

SCOTIA -- The Collins Park beach is closed for the rest of this swimming season due poor water clarity as a result of last summer's Tropical Storm Irene.
The Department of Health requires 4 feet of visibility in the water to allow public swimming. Collins Lake has only two feet of visibility, according to Jim Marx, parks and recreation supervisor for the Village of Scotia.
The village notified its residents this week that the beach, which has not opened at all this year, will remained closed for the summer.
Suspended clay was deposited into the lake when the Mohawk River overflowed in August as a result of Tropical Storm Irene.
