Has rotterdamians reached sooo low that some are turning neighbors in for WATERING THEIR LAWNS????
Spying and taking pictures of your neighbors private property???? OMG!!

And might I add....why the hell are you rotterdamians wasting your family, working and leisure time doing the work of police enforcement/code enforcement that YOU PAY FOR???  OMG!!!

I guess we can expect to see some rotterdamians walking the supermarket aisles, to search for shop lifters too, huh? And guess what? These supermarket chains have their own security depts that YOU pay for when you buy their products!!! See the correlation? Same difference folks!!!

BIZARRE!!

It's NOT yours to do!!!! And I think there are bigger fish to fry in ROTTENdam!

Fine, you go and look for Moby Dick, we'll take the small fish in the small pond.  See who comes home with the most in the end.  Gotta start somewhere.  When you're not a big game fisherman, you take whatever you can get.  It's not a competition on the Outdoors Network here.

Agree........but that is exactly who ROTTENdamians elected! Sure....I'm 100% for arming yourselves and protecting what is 'yours'.....however........tattling on neighbors watering lawns and spying on your neighbors private property is just a wee bit much......yes?

And that is exactly the point here.....homes are broken into almost daily.........protect yourselves!!! But folks watering lawns........paleeezzzzzzzzz!!! Come on.... are ROTTENdamians that brain dead that they can't tell the difference between a real dangerous criminal as to their neighbor watering their lawns??? I'm sure that even the police laugh at that one!!!!!

Just asking that the laws get enforced.  Maybe that would stop some of the other issues down the line... maybe.

I agree - just what do we get for 5 million a year?

TJ Hooker and Hamilton failed police policy

Fancy new police cars and SUV's

And staff that can retire at 100k a year

Or repealed.

Schenectady shares our aquifer and can water all day.

Niskayuna, Scotia and Glenville also share the same water.

We are the ones rationing our collective share.(unfairly)

The only problem with that entire idea is in order for that to happen, you'd actually have to have the infrastructure that could handle it.  We refuse to make sure have it, or do we have it already?  Obviously not.

Rampage is correct, if the water pumps were worked that hard they would be constantly be out for repairs and there would be no water pressure when needed by the fire dept for fire suppression.

I guess Rotterdam is just a bunch of Amish hillbillies without access to technology to keep up with the rest of civilization.

Really, we build a water supply designed to be rationed and that's acceptable?

We even keep issuing more building permits every year to make the situation worse.

Come on, Rotterdam can't afford to supply water to meet the needs of it's residents, but Schenectady can?

That's embarrassing.

Buy the right pumps for the job.

Anything less is mismanagement.

Did they ever get a "backup pump"?  Is the new/used one working at capacity?

I'll be willing to bet that the town either rebuilt the old one or bought a rebuilt one.

EXACTLY! And what is even more embarrassing is that the ROTTENdamians go around driving to see who is watering their lawns instead of dealing the the real issues of WHY there are water restrictions in the first place. Guess it's just easier to slither around your neighborhoods spying and taking pictures............that's just sooooooooooo ROTTENdam!

Amish hillbillies? One could only wish! That would obviously be an improvement.
