because I am sure DV will somehow become a part of it in no time flat.
This sounds like an interesting conundrum. So this fellow cleans up the triangle and then once he removes all the other signs post his own business signs up in their place??? Is that correct? I would just suppose that when you volunteer to clean up a public property that you don't use it as a place to stick your signs. Those signs belong on public property where his jobs are being done- with the permission of the property owner. JUST like political signs. I applaud anyone who cleans things up but I don't agree that they should be posting their signs there. I hate those business signs up along the highway that say "Earn Money from home" or "we buy houses for cash" etc. I see them on right-aways and on telephone poles too. Lately I have been seeing churches advertise in this manner as well. It grosses me out. We just don't need that clutter on our roadsides and I am sure there is an ordinance agin it.

Really, you got nothing better to do than discourage a 21 year old kid who started a small business in Rotterdam and is cleaning up overgrown property that you complained about, instead of just doing it anonymously yourself?
First you complain, then announce that someday you will clean it up.
You want him to be anonymous, but not yourself?
You should be welcoming a small business to Rotterdam, not bashing it.

There were no other signs there.
So you would prefer to have the overgrown weeds there instead of someone taking care of the property and putting a small lawn care sign on the property.

That would explain why there are all the unkept properties being complained about.

absolutely not................I thrive on being the meanest most miserable person in the world...........it's my life's mission..............I hope to have a statue erected someday in the town square proclaiming it................I expect all the world's wannabe meanest most miserable people to make pilgrimages to Rotterdam to worship and sacrifice small furry animals in my honor, thus providing a steady influx of customers to the newly opened world's most meanest and miserable person barbeque.........................have a pulled puppy plate or grilled kittens ala DV..............heck by being the meanest most miserable person in the world I fully expect Rotterdam's economy to thrive...................and it's all done without one cheesy piece of advertising..............yep my work is almost done
I am all for business. However, posting one's signs on right-of-ways is not right.

c'mon didn't ya know that's the new wave in business plans...........................random acts of kindness must now be acknowledged by self promoting placement of garish yellow signs......................
What happened to your neighbor, the second meanest man in the world?
His account appears to have been deactivated.
I missed what happened yesterday. I was out for the evening after 2:30pm.
I sent Dan a message asking what happened, but he must be out cleaning up more of Rotterdam for people to complain about.
Dan crossed the line in his last post yesterday, as a result the thread was deleted..............I can't speak for MT, but think he felt it was time to go.........I'll miss him here
I don't have time to read thru all of these posts..........but are we to understand that someone is cleaning up property that belongs either to a private property owner OR town property for FREE???
