just watched him in a flick the other day and checked the IMDB page to see what was up with him. I knew he was very old, and I always liked him. He was a big republican as well.
He added color to every movie he was in. Distinctive and original. Unlike the lookalike prettyboys (think brad cooper, ben affleck, toby mcguire chris evans blah blah blah) that they call actors today who will never dream of a career like that. They dont even have distinctive names. They are like slices of white bread compared to this guy who is a 30 lb. blue lobster.

Ernest was awesome as an actor and a guy, I couldn't believe when I turned on Howard Stern and a Ernest was on, even at 90 he held his own, was entertaining and honest. RIP
