Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) shows that pregnancy rates for all teens ages 15-19 are in the lowest levels since 1976. Among Hispanic teenagers, the pregnancy rate has declined 33%. The National Center for Health Statistics study shows pregnancies in women in their 20s have declined 18% from 1990 to 2008 and their abortion rate dropped by 32%. The numbers are going in the right direction to reduce teen pregnancy and reduce abortions... (Thank you PP) Imagine how much improved it would be if the Republicans actually JOINED the Democrats in this endeavor. |

How do you know the trend isn't from 8 years of GWB's abstinence only program? Glad to see you were able to take an 18 year trend in one demographic and narrow down the cause and effect to one organization. You live in a very simple world. |

The Latino population isn't "dwindling" as you posted, they are still increasing, but the Asian population is growing at a much faster rate. You are correct that America is "browning" as races mix, but IMO discrimination will continue to flourish in Conservative America. |
