there is also no scientific doubt as to the lack of our knowledge of our past millions of years of climate change and WHY...

The Science Gods have scientific PROOF of man-made global warming.  They can actually go back to the origins of earth and compare modern climate records to the 4 billion year global climate history.  Disregard the fact that the scientific evidence 35 years ago that had the science community predicting THE COMING ICE AGE.

It must be a condition of mankind - everybody wants to be a GOD.

They wish they can go back 4B+ years, but the furthest they can go back is around a mere 750k years ago. While that is a VERY long time, it's only a small 'blip' on an overall time-scale of 1B years.

What's really fu**in' funny is you read these articles and,in the begining of them, it's all factual with numbers and charts...Then they degrade into the 'man-made greenhouse' bullshit.

Read this one.....Look how it starts off and contradicts itself in the end....

To say that the "climate is changing" is one of those statements that just begs the response - "no sh*t, sherlock."    The fact is that the earth's climate has never been static.  It has always been "changing".    Cold periods, hot periods, rainy periods, dry periods .... so many things are involved in this process like volcanic activity, solar activity, ocean temps, etc etc .......  The human impact - if any - on the whole process is minimal.   One volcanic eruption tomorrow could out do/un do in minutes all of the impact that humans may have had in the past 200 years.

Now, I am not saying that we don't need to look for ways to reduce pollution or to find alternative forms of energy or to otherwise make good and prudent lifestyle decisions that will benefit humanity and the earth in many other ways.   I just don't believe that we should be going out of our way to make notorious lying bastards like Al Gore wealthy while he lives in a mega-mansion (40,000 square feet is what I read once) and flies around the globe in his private jet and all the while trying to make a fortune on "carbon credits" to add to the fortune his ancestors GAVE him (made on the petrochemical industry).

The irony I found about this yesterday is that the Times Union, on the front cover had a lead for a story deeper in the paper about global warming.  A newspaper.  You know, the thing that someone has to jump onto their bike or into their car to drive around dead trees (paper) that have dead plants smeared all over them (in the form of ink) to inform you about global warming  climate change   global warming, I guess is the word of the day again, occurring.

Bloomberg Businessweek's cover story this week takes a direct
approach to linking Hurricane Sandy and climate change.

First, Bloomberg says the storms are from Global Warming, but then he wants to rebuild everything as close to the shore as before...
Something has to give, if Global warming is going to make storms worse in the future, why are you even thinking about rebuilding at the shore?

It's not the fact we build our urban centers in the ocean.  Let's build a city with a population of 11 million at the base of Mount St. Helen's and blame fracking when it erupts.

global warming has existed for millions of years at different times in the earths history.....maybe it's just a natural process
in the whole scope of THE UNIVERSE.....anyone find the brake pedal to stop the earth from spinning? anyone? hell, we figured
out it was round....and we figured out there are billions of stars and hundreds if not millions of other galaxies....

climate change WILL HAPPEN....it has to....

we have to change where we live....we have to

I wonder how many folks figured that out in Louisiana or NYC or Jersey......

"we have to change where we live....we have to"

Yea... just like the dinosaurs.
90% of all species who've ever lived went extinct.  We may be next.

Bloomberg Endorses Obama Based On Global Warming

Mayor Michael Bloomberg endorsed Barack Obama yesterday, influenced by his belief that the president is
the candidate most likely to address the problems of global warming likely exemplified by Hurricane Sandy
hitting New York City.
