SCHENECTADY — A motorcyclist was injured at about 9 a.m. today when he collided with a landscaping trailer.

The accident occurred as the motorcylist was riding on Fehr Avenue and took a right onto Golf Road and hit the trailer, which was being towed by a dump truck.

The man on the motorcycle, who was not identified, was taken to Albany Medical Center, according to Gazette photographer Peter Barber, who was at the scene. His condition is not known.

There was a couple city trucks out here today cleaning and mowing JB Park. One was a large truck with a landscaping trailer on the back which held the riding mower, hope it isn't the same one .  BTW the park will be clean maybe for half a day or so and back to the dump it becomes everyday: (

Cyclists have gotten crazy with these high-poered crtoch rockets. Ironically at lunch today, table next to us was 2 cyclists talking about having ridden over the weekend and how they were having a rush about their side-by-side trip down a long stretch doing 120mph. Can you imagine bike at 120mph hitting back of truck becuase they couldn't stop in time.  Really sad they can't just enjoy the joy of riding a motorcycle without having to push the limits and dare danger!
