Sending wishes for a very Happy Father's Day to my wonderful dad and my wonderful dad-in-law and to all the dad's out there.
There's nothing as great and rewarding than being a father (happily three times over here). So wonderful to have your children around you.
Went to Mass last night, Chris never turned the alarm on last night so I really slept in until the youngest woke me to come outside to wonderful "picnic breakfast" on the lawn in the yard, complete with sitting on a blanket on the lawn and a picnic basket! In the basket, the grapefruit halves, warm muffins, and ham omelet---yes, they had to time it right to keep the omelets warm--made on the grill outside--til just before I cam outside. Only thing not in the basket was the coffee. Very imaginative. And now the paper is done and e-mails checked on, it's so nice out today I'm not sure whether to just lounge outside on the hammock or stay inside and watch the race. Chris as ousted me from anywhere near the kitchen today, they are getting everything ready for BBQ later with both dad and dad-in-law.
