Chinese official explains forced abortion policy funded by Obama administration BY MATTHEW CULLINAN HOFFMAN Mon Jun 11, 2012 12:52 ESTComments (29)
In the video below, a “family planning” official with the government of Changsha City, in the Chinese province of Hunan, explains how she uses her friendly lieutenants to “persuade” women to have abortions when they exceed the country’s one-child limit. The interview with the official was done last Friday by Bob Fu of the Evangelical Protestant organization China Aid.
The case Mr. Fu is calling about is that of Cao Ruyi, 37, and her husband Li Fu. The two already have a six year old daughter, and now Mrs. Cao is being told she must allow doctors to kill her “illegal baby” (yes, those are the words used by the official) or pay a fine equivalent to $24,000 (four years of wages for the couple) in order to spare his life. She is currently imprisoned at a hospital, where she is surrounded at all times by 10-20 men whose job it is to “persuade” her to have a “voluntary” abortion.
Such is China’s ruthless population control program, a program that is aided heavily by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), an agency that the Obama administration is funding to the tune of $50 million per year despite U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell’s statement in 2002 that “UNFPA’s support of, and involvement in, China’s population-planning activities allows the Chinese government to implement more effectively its program of coercive abortion.”............................>>>>...........................>>>>......................http://www.lifesitenews.com/bl.....-by-obama-administra
Feng Jiamei, Chinese Authorities Apologise After Forcing Her To Abort Child At 7 Months Huffington Post UK | By Sara C Nelson Posted: 15/06/2012 08:33 Updated: 15/06/2012 10:45
Chinese officials have reportedly apologised to a woman who was forced to have an abortion at seven months.
Three people have been suspended as the incident, which occurred in Shaanxi province, is investigated, the BBC reports.
The probe, instigated by China's National Population and Family Planning Commission, began after a photo purporting to show Feng Jiamei lying in a hospital bed next to the bloody body of her aborted child circulated online. Huffington Post UK has seen the picture but has chosen not to publish it.
China had/has a real population problem. Had they not put limits on kids when they did, they wouldn't be able to feed their own population. It's still a challenge.

So the solution is terminate pregnancies?
Like I said, there is a no shortage of willing adoptive parents, willing to pay China.
I think that would also reduce the number of abortions in the US if they allowed the unwanted to be sold instead of aborted.
Hell, if the government offered to pay for any unwanted child $5,000 instead of an abortion, it would be a giant fast growing business.
It would put a serious dent in the number of abortions.
Poor people would obviously just start making a kid every year for the cash.
But hey, the newly saved almost abortion victims would become taxpayers someday.

The government might put a lien on them though.
The pro abortion crowd never sees the victim of abortion as an asset. They are always viewed as a liability and a drain on the social welfare system - the “we can't afford them" argument. But as you just mentioned, that aborted fetus will become productive and pay taxes to the government beast.
There was a time in history when human reproduction and high birth rate was a key to a society's productivity and prosperity. Now, it is looked at as a drain on society and resources.
No matter how you look at it, the earth has finite resources... and an upper limit to it's capacity to feed and provide water to that population.
Now, or later, at some point... population control, voluntary or not, will be necessary or none of us will survive. The earth has gone through many 'mass extinctions' in it's history. Humans are not exempt from that possibility.

A couple that we know, went to china to adopt 'a baby girl'. This was about 5 years ago
China required them to stay in China for 2 weeks...which at the end of the 2 weeks they would be allowed to pick up their child and leave the country.(that was part of the deal) The couple was told that this was a way to help china's economy, assuming the americans would 'spend money' during their stay.
The couple obviously had no issue with this process since 2 years later, they went back and adopted another 'baby girl'.

It's too bad we couldn't apply your method of thought to the City of Schenectady welfare rolls.

that's the nature of the beast.....EVOLUTION/ADAPTATION or what ever you want to call....ABORTION isn't their answer either..... they should stop vaccinations and GET THE HELL OUT OF THE CITIES......

Total and complete bullshit. If food was an issue, then China's population would not have steadily increased over the centuries, let alone reach 1 billion people, nor would it be able to sustain such a large population.
While China has had instances of famine, they were on mostly a local levels with some escalations to regional levels...Well, until Mao's "Great Leap Forward" in 1958...That only resulted in (ca.) 45 MILLION people starving to death.
India has the second largest population and I dont see them killing thier unborn.

Kill yourself.
Since you are now a retired, silver ponytail wanna-be elitest, you are useless to society and the only thing you do is suck up resorces better suited to the next generation.
Folow your own philosophy.

The mass graves in China show that almost all the children they found were females.
