It seems to me, that if someone holding a position in town or city government wishes to express an opinion or debate on an internet forum then they should be required to use their real name and title, not an anonymous username. For years, this was how it was done on the Schenectady Forum. I can think of several legislators and officials who had the courage to post using their real names and didn't take the coward's way out and use an alias. I applaud those folks. They were the true public servants, willing to express their opinions and address the concerns of the citizenry, knowing full well the type of abuse they might possibly be in for.
Sadly, here in Virtual Rotterdam that's not the case. The sniveling coward who hides behind numerous names, spewing hate and misinformation here and holds 3 positions in town government is one such person. It is my opinion, that if this chicken-hearted heel continues posting anonymously then he should be banned from this forum. I also feel that as taxpaying citizens we have the right to know how our elected and appointed officials conduct themselves. Additionally if this person still posts his abuse here anonymously then it's our duty to report him to the ethics board, town board, planning commission, and the democratic committee. The emails and phone numbers are readily available on-line.
Also if this person continues posting anonymously it certainly shouldn't be out of the question to contact the various news outlets to put an end to this travesty. The ball is in your court sir are you a man or a coward.

Wait, you can't talk bad about Rhonda .. at least that seems to be the new "rule". Must be his feelings got hurt
Apparently, when their name gets posted to a public forum, it's an invasion of privacy, but when an every day citizen has their name published, it's ok. So be careful Sam Iam.

So, we aren't supposed to talk bad about him, but he can lie and that's ok? It's fine for him make a statement and avoid answering a question about the statement, e.g. avoid explaining how he arrives at the statement he makes, avoiding providing information/evidence to support what he says.

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent. Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

Oh hell no - I plan on challenging ANYONE that provides false information, just as everyone points out when I'm wrong, or you're wrong.
