Yeah, it's a real shame that McCheese has to go to work and see such overgrown weeds. I mean, didn't they fine many a businessowner last year for the very same problem????

Slap a pair of gloves on McCheesy and have EVERY SINGLE PERSON WORKING AT CITY HALL TAKE CARE OF THIS PROBLEM TODAY! That's right, get off your taxpaying-paid for arses, stop asking for volunteers and get at least ONE job done right in this City.

Guess what, you and the City Hall staff take one day (a Saturday/Sunday when the taxpayers don't need to fund it), pull the weeds and show to the City that you have at least ONE OUNCE of integrity left. PR like that is priceless!!!!!!

The unions would go BALLISTIC if this was requested ... talk about working out of title??  Dang.  I can hear the lawyers firing up their laptops already

Ironic that the main objective of many Schenectady unions is to ensure that their card-carrying members don't have to work?

Perhaps the business folks who have gotten a free ride via the struggling taxpayers wouldn't mind donating their time to volunteer....eh?

Or perhaps they could get those drug addicts/dealers, in the lock up, that the city is breeding and the taxpayers are paying for........ can volunteer their time under supervision.....yes?

The farmer's market attracts alot of volunteers

That is a joke yes?    On both groups of possible volunteers, yes?

Good one BT! We need a laugh with McCheese and A-Jello ruining everything. That's the funniest thing I've read outside of Gazetto editorials on raising the minimum wage and supporting an unconstitutional mandatory dog tax. I can just see Fat Morris plucking weeds around City Hall. Knowing the City DEM morons they will pluck the flowers and smoke the weeds.

Great idea --- maybe the nayboobs will get off their asses and do something CONSTRUCTIVE and PRODUCTIVE to help their community rather than just posting their idiocy online?

My guess is that they won't volunteer because they are just too damn lazy to do anything useful.

We actually pay our property taxes, isn't that constructive? In my case it is about 19 thousand dollars locally. I guess I am just a piece of sh*t in the eyes of the "regime" and its suckholes like you.

I pay property taxes it's THEIR job to maintain the city.  Let some of the city workers who are being paid with our tax dollars volunteer if they want to.

DV, how about the residents in the city ARE getting off their asses!   Many are working two jobs in order to pay the taxes of the millionaires downtown.

Why should the residents of the city do this work when they pay taxes to pay employees to do the work?

Tell us why McC, the council, and the department heads aren't volunteering in exchange for their lavish pay?

How about the owners and developers of the downtown businesses who don't pay taxes do the volunteer work?   Huh

You are always bragging about how much YOU do for the community, how come you are not seen doing the work by city hall?     Remember, YOU do NOT have a job, most of us do!

So people in the city work at paying jobs to pay taxes, now try telling us that they don't get off their asses

When are YOU going to get off YOUR a**, sitting there at the computer all day

.Of course, don't answer because you are much too embarrassed to admit the truth

And of course, he won't respond to questions asked of him.

Perhaps correspondence should be sent to various entities of the town asking why an appointed town official won't answer questions
