The U.S. has designated the whole world as a battlefield, including your backyard.  There are no sovereign nations in the "war on terror".  Scary part is, most Americans don't see that as a problem.  Though I believe people are beginning to realize what is going on and becoming concerned. This has been U.S. foreign policy for a looooooooong time.

Why Drones???

Thanks for the Daily Beast propaganda.  I loved the part where it said the Pakistani villager actually liked the drone attack that killed his family as an alternative to Pakistani military air strikes.  Nice touch. It's as if they want American drones killing their families.

The beginning of the propaganda piece glossing over of the legality of the drone strikes was a good one too.

Good luck getting the civil libertarian anti war left back into the Obama camp.

Cicero is collecting donations for his new "Adopt an AlQaeda" campaign.  He plans to adopt AlQaeda terrorists,
and relocate them to the United States sponsored by his "We Love Terrorists" group.
Please donate today... be as generous as you can.

(One word of caution:  When ever Cic has managed to persuade a Pakistani to adopt a lonely AlQaeda terrorist,
the host home and everyone in it suddenly, for no apparent reason, explode!)

LOL!!!

We're coming up on the 11th anniversary of 9/11 and the threat is more and more imminent every year.  But we are winning we are told.  We are conducting drone operations in more and more sovereign countries than ever before.  But we are winning.  American citizens are being executed without due process.  But we are winning.  Congress passed the NDAA which allows the U.S. military to detain U.S. citizen’s indefinitely without due process.  But we are winning.

It was less than 4 years ago, when the lefties like box were screaming about GWB's "enemy combatant" detainment policy and Guantanamo.  The left was screaming about the violations of civil liberties.  Obama himself opposed the Patriot Act when he ran for Senate, yet he signs it back into law.  The left was outraged by prisoners being photographed naked, and Korans being flushed down toilets.  They lectured about the un-American suspension of habeas corpus. They said 'our policies are creating MORE terrorist'.  Now, just a few years later, they are producing propaganda telling us that flying into sovereign nations, bombing "terrorist" and killing 15 or 20 in collateral damage is a wonderful policy and won't create more terrorist, Gitmo is still open and habeas corpus still suspended, and they advance from suspension of habeas corpus to suspension of due process, as now the president alone can sentence an American citizen to the death penalty, without due process, on charges of plotting acts terrorism.

...BUT WE ARE WINNING.

You have to remember, when Cicero says "we are winning"  the WE he's referring to is Al Qaeda!

The government told us they attacked us because we our free, because of the way we lived, so now that we our less free and sold out our principles like being against torture does that mean they're winning?

About a dozen top level AlQaeda terrorists killed by the Obama team including the master mind of
the Sept 11th attack... '11 years later'...  with no AlQaeda attacks in the USA...

I'd say that the USA under Obama is winning!
Unfortunately for Cic... when America wins... Cicero and AlQaeda loses.

Yes, there were no attacks on American soil by the Vietcong either.  Must be from killing all the top level leaders.  Yeah that was it.  Lucky we sacrificed 58k Americans and millions of Vietnamese civilians.
